The beach huts on the decking upstairs are great fun especially for the kids. Dogs are allowed there, in the front bar area downstairs and in the outside seating area at the front (just not allowed inside the main restaurant upstairs which has great looking...More

Passed this place on the way into Rhosneigr and decided to have late lunch. We went upstairs and sat outside in one of the huts which was quite quirky. Food options were quite good, and the prices reasonable considering the contemporary feel of the place....More

We have eaten here a few times over the years and always enjoyed it but felt let down on our last visit. My lunch was so memorable I've forgotten what it was but my wife's scallops were also a great disPpointment.

Visited the restaurant again on our annual trip to Rhosneigr was not disappointed. Staff extremely helpful, friendly and polite. Food enjoyable swift service and reasonably priced. Could not have asked for more.

This was part of the annual, traditional Dogcation. Pre-visit My wife had previously visited alone in September 2016 and we had an afternoon drink on the deck earlier in the week and also enjoyed the The White Eagle on the Sunday. Pre-Visit We were sizing...More

Came here for the wifi, and because it's near the beach. But we never made it to the beach 😆 First we sat outside at the beach bar, really funky, painted beer barrels tables in the sand and comfy benches and sofas with cushions. Delicious...More

We only visited this restaurant once on holiday. The seating is old industrial stools which wind up and down and very uncomfortable. Other than that it is plastic chairs or wooden benches. Food was not really that nice and prices a bit expensive. It was...More

Sadly I cannot actually comment on the food as we never bothered getting that far. I had been wanting to visit The Oyster Catcher since last year and so on a recent trip to Anglesey myself and my partner called in for coffee after an...More

We booked as a group of 12 family & friends one evening, lots of different starters and mains ordered, all food was good to great, no mix ups or shortages and everybody enjoyed it and had enough. Will happily visit again and recommend to others.

My family and I need to find pubs and restaurants where we can eat inside with our dog. Beer gardens and terraces are all very well but we need options for rainy days. We read a recent review that said dogs were allowed inside the Oyster Ctcher, is this still the case please? (Just checking because rules often change in pubs/restaurants).

Hello Yes, we ate at the Oyster Catcher with our dog in May. you have to sit in the downstairs bar - ideal for lunch, but I think they stop serving meals there in the evenings - only in the restaurant upstairs. The... More
