Long wait for food, differing temperature, wrong order and some meals sold with no veg. Waiter half cleared table then did dissapeared.

Arrived at the restaurant but not much atmosphere and waitress was quite abrupt and not very accommodating. Food was really good but service unfortunately wasn't. Could've done with some music in background as was quite quiet until other tables booked up.

Wow - a big difference since my previous review! Lorraine in the bistro was very chatty and friendly and looked after us in the bar until we could be seated (the hotel was very busy due to a coach party). My fish and chips were...More

This occupies a small space on the groundfloor of the Bulkeley Hotel. A small bar sits at one end. Good, unadventurous food and a good range of drinks are the order of the day.

A little soulless with a lack of soft furnishings plus small, cafe style tables & chairs (more than a little incongruous in the old hotel building). Service very cheery/friendly if slow. Odd things like taking a drinks order but not clearing all the empty bottles...More

The food was reasonable and price good. The service was good, friendly. However the Bistro lacks atmosphere and is a bit cafe like in its tables and layout. We were the only ones dining bar one other person so maybe it is not that popular.

Had lunch here of prawns on bruschetta and chicken with figs and Perl Las followed by burgers of the restaurant regular variety and lobster crab type. Both accompanied by chips with homemade coleslaw. They were tasty and served reasonably speedily. However it was staggering to...More

I've been on holiday on Anglesey for the past week with my family, and my elderly in-laws. There's seven of us all together, and I often get the job of finding us somewhere to eat at short notice: no easy task when we're a large-ish...More
