The popularity of this little place is in its old world charm. I had makeral with salad. It was a little over done perhaps too long in the microwave! It was ok the salad was very nice. I don't think I would choose it again, it wasn't 'home cooked' for my liking. My other half had a ploughman's lunch. This... More

Stopped in for a light lunch wile out in Beaumaris, little one was hungry so looked for a tea room where we could get a sandwich. This place fitted the bill perfectly, very pretty, not a big chain place and had a great selection of food and lots of teas to try. I heartily recommend the Welsh Cream Tea, very... More

Looking for somewhere to grab a quick lunch in Beaumaris and saw this quaint tiny tearoom. Food was plentiful and delicious. They had a gluten free menu and were happy to cater accordingly. Wished we had more time to have afternoon tea there as well. The cakes were enticing. Staff very pleasant too. Place full of character.

We stopped for tea and sandwiches at lunch time. We were very lucky to get a table as it was very busy. This was very apparent as the sandwiches were excellent and the tea came it proper tea pots along with china cups and saucers. This is not a place to miss when in Beaumaris.

We were recommended this place by a Tesco shop assistant in Benllech. She said that she always goes here for tea and that it is lovely. Well she wasn't wrong!!!! My husband and I both had the Welsh High Tea: scones, cream, jam and bara brith. The scones are the freshest I have ever tasted.

I finally got to visit this tiny tea rooms. I have been wanting to try them since I have seen the hluten free signs outside. It is a typical olde wotlde tea room with a good selection on the menu. I tried the gluten free Victoria sandwich, the slice was huge and it was probably the best one I ever... More

'Expect a robust welcome from Nigel Black and remember to duck.' Is the first line in a description of this award winning tea shop. Our experience was quite the opposite. We arrived and there was a red rope across the door because they were full ( which is fair enough) the family of 3 in front of us left -... More

We called in at the tea room one morning to buy a Bara Brith to take home and the lady said that they wouldn't have any until the afternoon. We went back later in the day and as soon as I walked in the lovely lady remembered me! We decided to stay and have a late lunch and it was... More
