We dropped in without making a booking and asked for a table for seven. We were seated in the main building rather than the conservatory part which I felt was a stroke of luck. The dining room was spacious and airy. We ordered starters and the carvery which were excellent and huuuuuge. Kids (4 and 9) were very happy playing... More

I wanted to start my review by saying the staff at trecastle are excellent, nothing is too much trouble. The place is lovely with the best restaurant view on angelsey. A very relaxing atmosphere. I started coming to the trecastle a few years ago and the food was outstanding, we would eat here every night on our Anglesey visits. Unfortunately... More

We were staying at the hotel and ate here on one of the nights. We were impressed at the quality of the food. Well cooked ensuring that local produce was used. The staff were very friendly. Worth booking - even midweek.

Definitely recommend, you don't have to stay there to eat at the restaurant. Lovely friendly staff, nothing too much trouble.

Just driving around the island and stumbled on this hotel and went in for Sunday lunch. Lovely view from conservatory across bay. Really impressed as my wife is gluten free and they brought a special menu straight away with a good selection. I had the carvery and enjoyed that but couldn't manage a dessert. Will visit again when we are... More

We were staying at Bull Bay on holiday, with this hotel just a few minutes' walk away, so visited several times, sometimes for drinks, sometimes for meals or snacks, & each visit was highly enjoyable. The food is superb, & the service friendly & efficient. The hotel is in an excellent position overlooking the bay; it's possible to watch porpoises... More

We dined here last weekend, on a few days break on Anglesay. The staff were a little laid back, and we had to get their attention in the other half of the building each time we needed anything, however, that said, the food was excellent, which is what we were there for :) I would recommend the Sirloin Steak, it...
