We stood in a queue for more than half an hour for the take away fish and chips. When we got to our holiday cottage to eat the meal we found the fish to be oily and over cooked. We reckon if the ordering service was more efficient the food would have been better as the fish we were served... More

First class fish and chips. Had to queue, makes it part of the experience. Ate them on the beach under the castle, fantastic.

Went again for fish and chips and like last time the quality was excellent unlike the chippys that are 15 mins closer to us well worth the drive and the 1/2 hour wait in the queue The staff and owner are real friendly and helpful

If you like your fish and chips you HAVE to visit this place. The queue to buy them tells you everything you need to know. An hour is not uncommon but well worth it. Its a very happy queue as well. We learned a lot about the area from a very nice lady who we stood next too and not... More

This is a lovely sea side fish and chip shop by the sea side and opposite criccieth castle (hence the name). There is both an established in option with a few tables and a takeaway counter service both are busy especially around 5-7pm. We were there at 5pm and could not get a seat so we went for the counter... More

We love our fish and chips and having seen the queues outside the castle before I knew it would deliver for my family today! Excellent chips and to sit just down the road and look out over Criccieth beach, you just can't beat!

Had heard a lot of good stuff about this place so popped in on a beach walk. There was a queue already as it had just opened and we waited around 30 minutes to be served. It has a small diner area but this was full also. The fish and chips were good and fresh so worth the wait in... More

We love this place and always visit when we are in the area, naked Fish caused a few giggles as they do a batterless fish for gluten free hubby. Nothing is too much trouble and we'll worth the summer queues to have beautiful fish and chips in such scenic settings. Back in autumn love the wyles family x

Just made it through the door before they shut at 9 p.m. Nothing was left, so a freshly cooked cod was done just for us, together with enough chips to feed an army!
