This place is a joke, I've tried it 4 times now thinking it might get better. It actually gets worse. How can a jalfrezi a Madras and a Bhuna all be the same colour, consistency and tasteless. Potatoes in the madras to hide the fact of lack of meat, half tomatoes in the Bhuna..... It's just extremely poor. If you... More

Called in to place our order then went to the cove for a drink to wait for our food. Went back after about 25 mins but still had a wait despite being told 20mins. However once we had our food it was wort the wait. Tasty, plentiful and good quality . Would recommend if you're wanting a curry fix!

On a very busy Saturday night in August, we tried to get a table at 5 restaurants before finally getting one here (a little after 8pm). It was busy but they managed to squeeze us in. Atmosphere not as lively as the other 5 restaurants we'd tried (and failed) to get into. We ordered at 2020. After 30 minutes our... More

After being turned away from every establishment in the village, east meets west tried their hardest to find us a table. However with mounting takeaway orders, the restaurant seemed to be forgotten. Once things calmed down, food was ordered and the evening carried on with lots of laughs. Yes it took a while to get the ball rolling, but once... More

I am surprised by the number of negative reviews for EMW. Our experience was of a friendly welcome and a pleasant meal. We were looking for a restaurant on the day of our arrival on holiday in Abersoch and found them fully booked. It therefore had to be a take-away and I'm glad that I chose EMW rather than fish... This is by far the worst indian takeaway I have ever ever had. My "tikka masala" which I read on the menu should have been in a creamy sauce, consisted of very dry, very grey looking chicken with no taste whatsoever. My brother had tandoori chicken which in my experience doesn't come on the bone, but came as half a... More
