Had an amazing meal here , the presentation of the food is awesome and the taste aromatic. Can recommend the Tom Ka soup with huge king prawns as a starter . Lovely ambiance, friendly , helpful staff a lovely welcoming atmosphere.

Visited here on last night of holiday. First experience of Thai food for our teenage kids. They, like us, loved the food. The specials were very tempting and we ordered mix of starters and currys. Food was delicious, fresh and full of flavour. Very happy family!

This is not necessarily somewhere you would pick as a place to visit without a recommendation. It isn't much to look at and there is only limited parking. We had driven past lots of times but it had never struck me a a place to add to my ' must visit' list. We only ended up there as friends who... More

This was our third visit to the Coconut Kitchen. However, it was our first-time child free!. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. I enjoy my food particularly hot, and my meal was delicious. Hot and also full of flavour. My husband had steak which was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was cosy, and desert was delicious. We enjoyed... More

We go to the Coconut Kitchen one or twice a month, when we have friends down its always top of our list. It's Aldo great for just two on a date night. The food is faultless. The Aberdaron crab and the seafood parcels are brill, I try so many times to not order the beef massaman but it's exceptional, if... More

book in advance it gets full the food is very good quite authentic and freshly prepared the place is closed a couple of nights a week which is a shame the price of the wine is quite reasonable compared with other places in the town there is a good bottle of chardonnay for 20 quid.

This was a delightful place. Excellent service first class food and imaginative menu. We shared crispy wonton and spicy chicken wings to start. Followed by chicken thai green curry and black Welsh steak to follow. Amazingly well coked, fresh food.

Description
The Coconut Kitchen, located in the village of Abersoch in Wales, is renowned for its fresh, aromatic Thai cuisine. The dining room at The Coconut Kitchen - decorated with Oriental lamps and dark wooden furniture overlooks the harbour and has a warm, intimate vibe perfect for cosy dining, and the restaurant is a popular place for dates, nights out with friends and dinner parties. We love the innovative menu, and popular dishes include the char-grilled coriander sirloin steak with a garlic and chilli sauce served with stir-fried greens and sweet potato crisps; the King Prawn Panang Curry cooked in a creamy red curry sauce with lime leaves and Thai sweet basil; and the delicious lemongrass and ginger crme brulee.
