Cosy pub environment which we have visited a number of time. Can get busy at certain times so always best to reserve a table. We have visited as a couple and as a large extended family and never had any issues with any of our meals and we do have a number of fussy eaters in our family but they... More

I keep coming back to the Queens Head. The welcome is always spot on. Service is warm and friendly. Steaks are great value and always cooked as I like them. The team at the Queens deserve to be well supported. Thanks all.

Thank you for reviewing. It's a shame you didn't review the food a little more than 'ok'. Which would perhaps have been a little more helpful and worthwhile than just describing the chipped plates. I am sorry if you did have a chipped plate or perhaps more likely a chipped dish which the condiments are served in (as I know... More

If you're looking for tasty food with a reasonable price this is the place. The Brinner dish is the best - potato cubes covered in BBQ pulled pork. onions and cheese.

Called in here on a Monday lunchtime and were lucky to get a table. The food was excellent value - Mixed Grill at £7.85 (of half chicken breast, 4oz rump steak, 5oz gammon steak, sausage, fried egg, peas and chunky chips) cooked to perfection and not greasy. The same applied to the Hunter's Chicken and chips at £6.10. The desserts... More

On holiday from portugal to see family was recommended this place by someone and it was great. Came twice, both me and my partner had mixed grill and chocolate crownie the first time and the BBQ melt second time, all was tasty, great value and very friendly staff. Nice ambience and music too. Definitely will be coming back! Thank you!

we visited early on a Tuesday night which does not include any special offers. The pub is local to where we live and very handy with the onsite parking. We have visited several times before, and on one occasion found it too busy to get a table! The pub is very well run by friendly staff. The food is always... More
