Found this dog friendly pub by sheer chance, on the way to the Four Falls. Popped in, and were made extremely welcome. The food portions were delightfully huge, I highly recommend the homemade burger. I'm a big eater, but struggled to eat it all. The chips were hand cut, and chunky (I suspect the chef managed to get 3 chips... More

The food was nice as were the staff, but I was sitting next to a radiator that was black with dust, dirt and filth so this put me off a bit to be honest. Nice enough pub, but it could benefit from a good deep clean in the nooks and crannies, particularly if people are eating there.

I took a walking group of 8 people to the New Inn for lunch and had a lovely meal. Everyone enjoyed the food and the service was excellent. A very wide range of meals to choose from and all first class. Our group of 8 had table service to take our orders and the meals were provided in very good... More

Went there before a wedding at the church next door for a drink, and the day after for Sunday lunch. The staff were lovely and very helpful, the place itself has a lot of character. Went for Sunday roast the following day - the food was very good, I had the vegetarian option! They take card, which was brilliant given... More

We called in here mid-week in the afternoon and the service was nothing short of terrible!, after a lengthy wait by the bar to order our food and drinks the lady serving walked away from me twice whilst I was speaking to her attempting to order my meal and just seemed to be distracted the entire time, I ordered a... We have been coming to this village for years and seen all the changes to the pub. We are now very pleased that our traditional Saturday night get together meal can happen at the New Inn within a few yards of where we are staying. It now has a clean, welcoming atmosphere, the management and staff are very competent, helpful... More

After a day running & walking in the Brecon Beacon's we'd worked up an appetite, so called in to The New Inn on our way home. The ladies gave us a lovely warm welcome. The range of specials was tempting and my partner opted for the Sea Bream served with Lava Bread with a side of sweet potatoes which was... More

I never write reviews but felt compelled to with this place. Went here for food yesterday, it's under a new (all woman) management and is absolutely stunning. It's a lovely country pub, one of the nicest I've been to. The Menu - is a perfect blend between classic pub lunch and more modern choices. The DrInks - Lots of familiar... More

Under New Management. Situated on the edge of Brecon Beacons National Park & right in the heart of Waterfall Country is The New Inn Ystradfellte. We are a 16th Centuary traditional Welsh Pub with many original features & beer garden. We serve delicious locally sourced food including meat from Brecon & sea food from a local Fish Monger. We also cater well for vegetarians & vegans If you are walking the local waterfalls or the Dinas Rock or visiting local caves, visiting Penderyn Distillery, nearby Pen Y Fan or any of our surrounding areas such as Brecon, Hay on Wye, Abergavenny, Merthyr Tydfil, Neath, Swansea, Cardiff & many others please visit us, you can be assured of a hearty meal, a friendly welcome & a pint of local ale. We are dog friendly & have camping facilities (please enquire over the phone of in the pub). Please note we are small country pub but we can get very busy particularly on weekends so if you can make a reservation we strongly advise it to avoid disappointment. Please note we cook only a Sunday Roast on Sunday's as we do not have the facilities to run a menu as well. We stop cooking Sunday Roast around 4.00pm we then serve from 4.30pm - 7.30pm a limited menu consisting of locally sourced pies, peas & mash (vegan & veggie options) OR homemade curry & chips.
