My wife and I had an absolutely fabulous experience at Majestic Grille. The food was superb... every element from apps to entrees to desserts... drinks were excellent as well. My pork tenderloin was one of the best pork tenderloin dishes I've ever had. Our server,...McKenzie, was also fantastic. She really helped make the experience all the more special. Great atmosphere, comfortable booths... just a wonderful evening! A must for your Memphis dining list!More

The restaurant atmosphere was unique in that it looked like it had once been a movie theater from the early to mid 1900's. It was beautiful and formal, yet the atmosphere allowed for casual. Our waitress, Grace, made excellent recommendations and we each had a...superb meal. Grace was impressive with her ability to thoroughly describe menu items and she did a great job with her dessert tray presentation. She completed the dining experience.More

Fantastic food and service. The meals were so good, we came back again for the last meal of our trip. They also allow substitutions, which for those of us with dietary restrictions is a great help. Mini-dessert shooters are just enough for a sweet finish...to the evening. The Art Deco space and ambience is wonderful, especially the video of old shows like The Addams Family and Three Stooges. Great place to go for dinner if you are seeing a show at the Orpheum, or just spending time downtown. Highly recommend!More

Visiting Memphis from Monday-Friday. Had dinner at the Majestic Grille Tuesday and Thursday. Wonderful ambiance, amazing service, absolutely delicious food. The focaccia is perfect, my friend loved her salmon so much she had the same meal Thursday. Had the pork tenderloin and the half chicken...and was perfect. The mini dessert shooters are a great end. If you find yourself in Memphis please go visit! You will not be disappointed.More

Grace did a wonderful job allowing our family of 9, including a toddler, to have a great experience. The food was generally excellent, the kitchen was prompt and again, Grace was super!

On a weekend getaway trip to Memphis, we decided to make a reservation here due the the historical background…plus we live steaks. We happened to be in the area about an hour before our reservation and decided to see if they could seat us early,...which amazingly was an accommodation they could make! We were seated in a booth on the wall (score) in their lovely dining room. Our server popped over quickly with waters and took our cocktail order, a couple of house bourbon concoctions. We ordered a Caesar Salad to share, each had the 8 oz filet (mine was au poivre) and an order of sautéed spinach. The food was delicious and well prepared, all of it including my fries! They do have bread they bring which are cut in smaller pieces and realllllllllly good. It was some sort of white bread, ask for it if they don’t automatically bring to your table. Our server was incredibly attentive and checked in on us often, but not too often. The whole experience was wonderful.More

Stopped in spontaneously and was fortunate to get the last table. Seemed like a big office lunchtime weekday crowd. Enjoyed my Cobb salad and they accommodated substitutions. Husband had the half wrap with chili soup. Very pleasant server. Restaurant is and old theater and interesting.

Memphis isn't all Graceland and Beale Street. An evening at the Majestic Grille, where steaks and upscale American fare is dished up in a grand 1913 movie house showing silent films, makes for wonderful dinner and entertainment. Located at 145 South Main Street, in Fifty...Peabody Place, Majestic Grille is open from 4 to 9 Tuesday through Friday and 4 to 9 on Saturday. Chef/owner Patrick Reilly has fashioned a classic restaurant that would make Rudolph Valentino and Mary Pickford proud. For starters, my wife and I shared cornmeal crusted calamari, house smoked salmon and Caesar salad with Romaine, grated parmesan, croutons and creamy garlic dressing. For her entree, my wife chose an eight-ounce filet with garlic mashed potatoes and sauteed spinach. I opted for a 12-ounce filet with blue cheese crust, six sauteed shrimp, garlic mashed potatoes and sugar glazed carrots. For dessert, we couldn't pass up a chance to share a large slice of key lime pie and a plate of strawberry shortcake. The only thing we missed were the ducks.More

My husband I had Saturday brunch here on a very cold February day. Brunch seems to be a thing here—although we were able to get in without reservations, the restaurant was very busy so service was a little slow. No worries though—we weren’t in a...hurry to go anywhere. We started with a hot whisky toddy, which hit the spot for that weather. The menu was standard brunch fare; it was tasty but I wouldn’t say there was anything exceptional. The venue is an old theater which you really wouldn’t know except for an insipid cartoon that relentlessly repeats itself playing on a large screen at the far end of the restaurant. The architecture is interesting, table arrangements unique, but really need to loose that cartoon screen—took away from the whole vibe.More

We made reservations here based on the recommendation from the Orpheum theatre website. It did not disappoint. Perfect spot for a date night, and the food is fabulous! Our waiter was very nice and accommodating.

The chicken bacon flat bread appetizer is wonderful and enough for a meal! My entree was the pork chops and they were cooked to perfection. Finished off with some very tart key lime pie and chocolate mousse. We definitely will come back.

From the minute we stepped into the lobby until we checked out this hotel is top notch! Eboni at the front desk was so so helpful and always on point. The rest of the staff was the same. Hu Rooftop bar is THE place to...hang out with an adult beverage or two! The views are spectacular, especially the sunsets. Centrally located but far away enough for some quiet time. We will definitely be back. The staff really cared about us and went above and beyond to be of service. Can't say enough about Hu Hotel.More

This was the nicest dining experience we have had in a while. Large open space in a historic space on Main Street. The Calamari starter was tender but typical. Smoked salmon flatbread was the most interesting dish we had. My pork tenderloin had a delicious...sauce and nice sides. You will not find cutting-edge cuisine here, but you will enjoy yourself.More

Wonderful experience dining here with a party of six. The drinks were fantastic, the food was excellent and the service was very good. Everyone loved their entrees (and we each got something different) and the apps we shared were delish as well. Little dessert bites...were the perfect size after a big meal and were really tasty. Cozy and fun atmosphere in this old theater turned restaurant. This was our first visit since they were closed during the pandemic and they did not disappoint. They definitely have their groove back despite the long closure. We were showing friends around Memphis and this was a great choice for our Saturday night dinner. Can't wait to go back and sit at their cool bar as well!More
