The frozen margaritas looked great, but we didn't have one. Anyone who rates this restaurant at much better than average did. The fried shrimp basket was fine; it came with plenty of fries. The atmosphere is interesting.

I was told about the flying fish from a local. Being from the gulf coast area I was curious to see how they cook there seafood. I ordered a red snapper grilled and a half dozen oysters. Fish was ok, not the greatest. The oysters were much smaller than I'm used to.

The food is not that great. I ordered a Lobster stew and it is kind of salty. However, it is affordable comparing to restaurants you see around. Plus, if you eat there a lot, you get a free meal. When you order, you will have a electron device, and when your food is ready, it will flash, then it is... More

Good selection of seafood. Casual place, lots of Billy Bass hanging on the walls. Had bassa lunch. Came out quick, tasted great. Self serve beverages. Good lunch for $12.

Was recommended by the hotel staff at the Peabody Hotel to try this place out after a long day of traveling. I walked across the street and walked in. Looked over their menu board and saw several great options. Though I was hungry, I was also tired. I ordered the 2 Catfish Filets and 4 Jumbo Butterflied Shrimp Combo Basket,... More

The Flying Fish was our first introduction to Memphis, and it was a really great one! Between the cheap beer, light & flaky fried fish, to the excellent jumbo fried shrimp, we couldn't have asked for more! Well, we did go back to the counter for a second order of fried shrimp.....(shhhh). Most of the plates are under $17, which... More

Casual seafood dining. My husband and I started our dinner with gumbo, our daughter ordered oysters on the half shell and all was delicious . I ordered the fried oyster and shrimp platter, husband ordered fried shrimp and it was wonderful. Our daughter had blackened fish and said, it was seasoned perfectly. This is a fun downtown Memphis restaurant. Great... More

Awesome food - gumbo, fish, key lime pie etc with fun fish camp atmosphere. A must to visit while in Memphis. Across from The Peabody (west side).

Thank Anita D
