I'm being nice with three stars cause, in all fairness, we didn't eat too many items. My husband had a hankering for oysters. He thought he had ordered the shell oysters, but they gave him fried. I had the hush puppies. Both were so greasy. He liked his oysters, but it left us both with stomach issues and we agreed... More

The place is quite nice, a little bit rude. The menu is well assorted, there are dishes for every taste. I've tried the grilled catfish and the gumbo: not bad but I've been eating better ones. By the way is a place that you should try. The price is good.

This is one of my favorites. The food is always good. Nice casual atmosphere. Central to downtown Memphis attractions.

staying at the peabody for a conference...Flying Fish right across the street. We walked over for lunch during conference break. Line was a little long (and i took that as a good sign) but we were in and out in 45 minutes. Great variety of menu items and staff really friendly..

We stopped by the Flying Fish by accident, but it was a good mistake. I had the grilled tilapia po boy which is one of the heather options at this restaurant. A friend had the shrimp salad and another had the chicken salad; both said they were good and were very large portions. There is a lot of fried food... More

Best Sea Food for southern flavor. The fish on the walls cracked me up, The service was excellent for a place that doesn't have actual waiters!!

We had the catfish & shrimp plate. It was good fish. It came with fries & was really more than an adult needed. It could have easily been shared with a kid. Kid meals were plenty (large burger or chicken strips, fries, animal crackers, drink). Everything we ordered was fried, but it was a light, cornmeal batter. The pictures &... More

It is across from the Peabody Hotel where I'm staying. I'm trying to stay low calorie so I thought I'd have a shrimp cocktail. Instead, I opted for the grilled salmon salad. I was surprised to have some of the best grilled salmon I've experienced. It is not a thick cut of salmon but rather thin. Seasoned to perfection. It... More

Service was very fast with friendly wait staff. I had a grilled chicken salad which was huge. In my opinion you definitely got your money's worth. I also had an appetizer that was very good. You order and get a buzzer. You then get your drink and condiments. When your buzzer goes off you go back to the counter and... More

I found this highly rated restaurant on trip advisor. What a disappointment. The food was just okay and the portions small. I had the oysters and my wife had catfish. We felt the food was only average.
