Very impressed with the quality and amount of food on my plate. Hot, just out of the fryer or steamer, food in large quantities. Friendly service and clean dining areas.

Had the catfish there, huge portions. Cooked beautifully, lovely and moist. Right next door to the Talbot Heirs . Great. R

Looked this restaurant up on the internet before going, was determined to find it. Tour guide did recommend we eat there. We found it very easily, on entering we were faced with a large menu board, not knowing what to have, my husband wanted to try Gumbo, but not knowing what it was he asked and the guy behind the... We had a fabulous lunch. The fried jalapeños and picked greens tomatoes were great. Service was very quick.

The food was ok. People were not friendly at all. But the frozen margaritta made up for it. $9 for the largest frozen margaritta I have ever had....would go here again for the drink.

This place is quantity, not quality, for the most part. Very busy when we went, food took a long time to come out, when it did it was cold. The grilled catfish and rice and beans were virtually flavorless. Too bad, I really wanted to like this place. Would not eat here again.

My husband and I went for a quick, close dinner our first night in Memphis. We arrived at 6:30 on a Saturday night and it was moderately full. The decor is fitting with the casual fish house that it is. I ordered the shrimp basket and my husband ordered the hot boiled shrimp and a bowl of gumbo. We also... More

Memphis is known for its BBQ. But if you have a taste for fish, Flying Fish won't disappoint. It's not a pretentious place. You don't have to dress up to eat here. Your food is served in wax paper and a basket. But it's good. They focus on great tasting seafood dishes with southern style side dishes. It's around the... More
