Very cool bar. We sat in the window early evening and watched the wonderous parade of people going up and down Beale Street. Lots of atmosphere and the guitars of famous musicians hanging from the ceiling. Good selection of food too.

Food was "Ok" but our service was bad. Our server forgot several of our food items. Gave one of our meals to another table, gave us a hard time when we asked for separate checks. Catfish was not great, but the burgers were not bad.

Memphis was really hopping with the ribs festival during the time we were there. We were happy to find a couple of bar stools and listen to the live band, Mambo Jambo.

We came to Beale Street to be entertained and this place did it. Really friendly and a Sunday special where you never know what will happen it seems. The band isn't static, different singers will join, drummers will change, guitarists will add in and drop...More

We attended two evenings performances. Every band, every band member, were fabulous blues musicians. They had a light cover charge, but we are able to attend without a drink minimum, which was good for me as I don't drink.

Our bartender made this stop and they had good prices. Stop and see all the guitars, don't expect the best bathrooms, lol

Came here several times during our long weekend in Memphis and really enjoyed the music. Our favorite was on Sunday night from 7pm to 11pm, it was open jam sessions. So musicians would show up, sign in on a piece of paper and they would...More
