My wife and I waited about 15 minutes for a table on a Saturday morning, as only about half the tables are being used. Our server, Kimberly, could give lessons on how to be an exceptional waitress. The French toast and eggs were average, but...I liked the seasoning on the potatoes. The syrup had been warmed, a thoughtful gesture. The bakery items looked good.More

The food here was just fine, exactly what we expected. I had a patty melt and fries and my husband had a breakfast plate with eggs, links, and toast. It didn't take long for the food to come out and it was hot and cooked...well. Our biggest takeaway from this evening, though, was our server. She was polite, attentive without being annoying, and genuinely interested in making sure we were waited on throughout the meal. The night we were here was pretty quiet. I'm sure it gets a lot busier late at night with the college crowd, I'm certain all you can eat pancakes for $3.99 after 9:00 is a real hit with these kids. We had a better than usual experience at this restaurant and I wanted to post this and hope they see it so they'll keep up the good work.More

Thank you Debbie for your kind words.

Longest I've ever had to wait, here for both meal and beverage. 40min +. Food, as always, was great which is why 3 stars, not less. Service is usually super, too, with little wait. We'll just chalk this up as a fluke and this will...remain my favorite after work stop. O-light eggs are always cooked just right and their bacon has great flavor. Good coffee, as well.More

Tonight was truly a horrible experience at a restaurant that I have really loved. I was banned from Perkins and the security guard pulled out his handcuffs and was approaching me to put them on me. I thank God tonight for a wonderful gentleman named...Don who came to my rescue tonight. This was absolutely unbelievable. The back story in this is that I went up to pay for my food. I waited at the front for about 20 minutes. I talked to Don and his wife who came in. They had been at their 60th class reunion. They commented that we were standing there for awhile and no one came to help us. The service manager Ally came and they beckoned to her. I told her that I had been waiting there for quite awhile. She looked at me roughly. She went on about her business, came back and took the couple to their seat. I was still waiting. When she came to me so that I could pay my bill, I had decided that I was not going to say anything to her, I needed to go pick up my daughter at U of M who had attended a play there. She asked me how was my service. I did not say anything. She said again, how was the service. I told her that it was not good at all. I told her that even her treatment of me was not nice. I turned to a gentleman who was facing us and sitting in the first booth and said to him that didn't he see me standing there for a long time? I didn't know at the time that he was security. He just put his head down and said nothing. Ally said okay then I will take the cost of the meal back off of your card. I told her thank you but I am still going to make a report about this and prepared to leave. She said to me Don't raise your voice at me. That shocked me, because I was not raising my voice. I told her that I wasn't raising my voice. The security guard got up, he screamed at me and told me to get out and that he was going to call the police on me. I told him to call the police because I had not done anything. Then he said to me that I was banned from Perkins. I love this restaurant and I told him that he could not ban me from Perkins. Then he took out his handcuffs and came at me. He said that if I did not leave by the time he counted to three that he was going to handcuff me and take me to jail. I couldn't believe this. The customer Don came out to reason with him and another customer filmed the whole thing. This is so unbelievable.More

The muffins are the business.the rasberry ones are my and my hubby's fave and our kids love the chocolate and blueberry ones. The restaurant has always...had friendly staff and soothing atmosphere.Wish there was a Perkins in my hometown!More

We dined here for brunch during the week. Coffee and breakfast was good, but not remarkable. However, the deserts looked out of this world - cakes, muffins, pies, cookies, YUMMY LOOKING

The staff appears to really enjoy working here. From the hostess to our waitress to cashier, everyone wore smiles on their faces. My 8 year old niece and I visited for breakfast on a Saturday and we had a 15 minute wait. The place was...packed but it went by quickly. Food was standard, service was very good.More
