They serve the best breakfast. On weekends the earlier the less wait. I've been here several times this year. Wonderful fluffy biscuits. Pancakes are great too. I plan to visit more this fall.

Entire party has to be there to be seated. Valid, but they wouldn't seat us unless we were all INSIDE. They called our name and I went to get the other two (just four of us) from outside and they skipped us because we were not inside and went to bottom of list. "Hostess" was rude. Will not go back.

It's been over 5 years since my last visit and I have to agree with my mother- the diner is getting too long in the tooth and living on its past life. Sadly all the chairs are worn thin as is a lot of the interior. Service was quick efficient friendly but the food was average at best except for... More

Oh my. We are visiting Memphis for Elvis week-our annual trip. Have driven by the Blue Plate for years. Finally had breakfast here. Wow! All was great, and if you order an entree that comes with "a biscuit" you get a huge basket. THE BEST biscuits and gravy I have ever had. Cute decor and better food. Great prices. Can't... More

I have eaten here many times in the past and have always enjoyed it. However, today it was nothing special. I had turkey and dressing with macaroni, cucumber salad and cabbage. They brought out complimentary cornbread and biscuit. NEGATIVES: The cabbage was not seasoned and barely warm. It was a late lunch, so maybe that was part of it. The... More

The food is great and the people are so friendly. We came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning and were not disappointed. Their biscuits and gravy are delicious. This is a great place to go for a lazy Sunday breakfast/brunch.

Took a little bit to get seated but it was a busy morning. Food and service were good and everything was clean.

The breakfast here is soo good! The biscuits are amazing. I have tried a number of dishes out and all have been very good. It is very loud and always very busy. I have never tried the lunch, but I pass this location several times daily and it is even packed during lunch hours, so I am assuming it is... More

Place is small but they get you in and out and it is actually larger inside than it looks. Staff was very friendly and the food was good. The cost was minimal.

This is a great local cafe on a very nice area on Poplar. Service was excellent and food was excellent as well. They have the best & lightest biscuits and graveyard to start out your breakfast. Reasonable prices very nice staff. Highly recommended.

Thank Frank T
