I had looked for a place to make a personal comment and couldn't find one. So, I am going public now. We were there last Sunday, the 18th at 4 pm. The atmosphere was great as usual especially under Covid circumstances. BUT, the food was...atrocious! Group of 4, ordered chicken strips, catfish, rueben and burger. The rueben came with home made chips. They had no flavor and the corned beef was like shoe leather. The catfish was atrocious and the cole slaw that came the meals was really bad and tasteless, too! The burger and chicken tenders were fine. We're not foodies, and we love Silky's!! We're local. But, we will eat elsewhere or please fire that cook! TYMore

We stopped in for oysters, beer and gumbo. Our waitress was very pleasant and the food was good. We had been wary about the oysters but they were fresh and tasty. It was fun to watch the dueling piano players., too. For a quick meal...and an enjoyable evening, this fits the bill.More

We stopped in for a salad and a drink, and got to enjoy some amazing piano skills from the two performers. We shared one of their huge Diver drinks (served in a bucket). Staff helped guests maintain appropriate social distancing.

Food was decent nothing to write home about. Service was good perfect pour on half and half. But do not expect blues music out on the patio

Not too many places on Beal street are open. Let alone open for eating inside. This place is very rustic. Half the main room is the long, long bar. I found the food to be good. I had the BBQ shrimp. Well seasoned and generous...portion. The accompanying bread was stale. Maybe, on purpose so it could soak up the BBQ juices the shrimp was floating in.More

We stopped in for an afternoon of live music during the pandemic. Pros: great live music on the patio. Cons: horribly slow and non-friendly wait service. Appeared that they were discouraging ordering drinks or food based on service provided.

Since Covid 19 and the unrest, this was one of the few places open on Beale St for lunch. We ordered the brisket, and it was ok but a little dry with a lot of fat on it. Side dish portions are very small. We...ate on the patio, which was nice. Service was fine.More

Silky O’Sullivans has been a local favorite of mine for 10+ years. Great atmosphere, top notch staff, and the bbq nachos are to die for. I’ve really noticed even more so during COVID the last couple of months, ownership has been amazingly great to their...employees and they have gone above and beyond to keep guests, staff, and everyone safe. I highly recommend Silky’s to anyone visiting Beale Street.More

Somehow while walking Beale Street we stumbled upon this place and went in for drinks and live music each night we were in town. The drinks were great! Waiters, waitresses and bar staff were amazing! Food was ok. We only ate there once. We really...enjoyed the atmosphere. A fun hangout! I loved the goats and hope that they're being taken care of during this shutdown.More

We tried the charbroiled oysters there. They were just ok but overpriced, 16 dollars for 6. The drinks were very overpriced. The service was excellent. I would recommend going if you want to over pay to sit in a dump and drink drinks and eat...marginal food.More
