I arrived with a group of friends on a Wednesday for lunch. I ordered the 6 ribs with bbq spaghetti and potato salad. The ribs were tender and a little too fatty for my taste. The sauce was very good and I ordered medium heat. It was a little spicy, but just enough of the heat. Good ribs, but not... More

If they were handing out graduate degrees for GREAT BBQ, Cozy Corner would definitely have earned a doctorate of smokology! Cozy Corner is one of those family run places that has been around forever. The locals tried (and failed) to keep it their little secret. Cozy Corner is one of my TOP 2 favorites for BBQ in Memphis and I... More

Visited here in June 2014 and enjoyed bbq ribs. We also tried the cornish hen but it was a little dry and I would not order this again. The area is not great. Employees were friendly and service was very good. I would go back again.

Too often BBQ places don't do beef and don't smoke their meat and don't pay attention to the flavor of the meat not being smothered. Not Cozy corner. I took some out of town friends from Florida to the Cozy Corner because they wanted to know where do locals go to get the "goods" when they want it done "right"... More

This is the BEST barbecue place in Memphis – hands down! Three of us had the two-rib (hot), cole slaw and beans plates. The meat was falling off the bones marvelous. I sucked the bones clean, including the ends! The sauce was just right…not too sweet, and not too hot. Just enough heat to open my tastebuds. There was a... More

Don't come to The Cozy corner for it's lack of atmosphere. Located in the hood this BBQ shop is a diamond in the rough! The ribs are country style which means sliced slab, two ribs to a piece. The food is all incredibly fantastic but the service is slow. Carry a bottle of water and a cloth with you to clean... More

14 of us walked in and were served straight away, it's just a take away joint with friendly staff, good advice and a small dining room you can sit in and eat off your paper plates. The decor is old fashioned and it looks hideous from the street front but don't let that fool you the food it's brilliant food... More

Cozy Corner is located in a small nondescript building that doesn't exude much in the way of atmosphere. You step inside and order at the counter. Service is efficient and friendly. If you plan to eat in there is a small dining room available. I ordered a half rack of ribs and was pleased with how good they were. They... More

I read trip advisor reviews before going. Yes it is not in the best area. Yes, it is a "greasy spoon". YES, the food is GOOD! The character of the place is delightful. Reading all of the signs on the walls. The staff was very friendly. The Cornish hen and chicken wings were very good. Nothing bad to say here.... More

Memphis is known for our BBQ and when a place has national acclaim, I expect the food to reflect this. Went for a late lunch to go. Was greeted when arriving with a smile. The first item I requested was sold out for the day and opt for a half rack of ribs with sauce hot, bbq spaghetti and coleslaw.... More
