We were trying to find a place for dinner and two restaurants we had gone to downtown had horrible waits. I found this place via a Google search and saw good reviews. When we pulled up I couldn't help but laugh that I made this recommendation, because it looks like a dump outside. Moving past the exterior, the staff was... More

This has to be the best pizza I've had ever. The toppings are fresh and plentiful. Please make this a must when you visit

Business lunch. Had the bbq pizza which was full of topping- pulled pork I believe. It was ok but crust was burnt on the edges. Most of us had the lunch special lasagna and it was good but the salad was super. The house Italian dressing was really good and for $8 it was a good deal. Comes with a... More

My family has been coming to Colettas for 65 years. It's a comfortable atmosphere with the best pizza you could ever have. There homemade Italian dressing is also a must!

Memphis isn't known for their pizza and this place doesn't help. This place boasts that it has served Elvis Presley and it is home of the original Memphis BBQ pizza. Home of the Original BBQ pizza I had to try it. Awful. it was a deep dish pizza where the crust tasted like cardboard (old, dry and stale) and pizza... More

Have not eaten at Coletta's in 45 years. Yes that's right; 45 years. I remembered it was the first place to have BBQ pizza and it was delicious! Well, on a road trip we decided to go for a visit to see if it was still good. I was really disappointed. The place was a little dumpy looking. The pizza... More

Although we no longer live in Memphis our favorite date place for dinner was to have the large barbeque pizza with the house salad and home made 1000 island dressing. Although they have moved from their summer avenue location now on Appling Road their food is still the same.Bon Appitite

I had the Chicken Parmesan at Coletta's. It was good food and just about enough to satisfy my hunger. It's an old establishment, but was clean. I would rate as 3.5 stars. It was kind of neat to eat where Elvis ate. A good one time experience for an out of towner.

This place has been around since 1922 or so the nice lady at the register told me. One of our party said she was a Coletta herself. Priscella Presley was even in a couple of weeks back. Good food with an old dark environment. It is in a part of town that begs to be avoided after dark.
