Central BBQ is a great BBQ restaurant in a city known for BBQ. Dry Ribs are the best. Good atmosphere, casual and friendly.

Lives up to it's reputation! We had brisket sandwiches (fixin's are located on a table behind you) Cole slaw and cornbread. The brisket melts in your mouth and there iare a variety of sauces to choose from. Beer, drinks, desserts everything but you will have...More

The food was pretty good and was priced fairly well too. If you’re a BBQ fan then this is a definite stop for you. If you haven’t had BBQ, or good BBQ, then this is also a great stop for you! There is a parking...More

Be prepared to wait in line to order but it is worth it. One of the better pulled pork sandwiches you'll get in Memphis, home-cooked chips, and be sure not to miss their smoked wings (these could be their own meal)

We live in Texas where BBQ is King, so the food didn't really impress us. The prices and service are fine and the building is really interesting. The food is totally edible, just not special.

I am super biased because I love dry rub bbq! Some of the best brisket I had was at a wedding in Memphis in 2012 so I couldn’t wait to return to Memphis for more dry rub. I ordered the one meat brisket platter which...More

My wife and I shared a slab of rib plate for two that came with 4 sides. We opted for fries, mac and cheese, baked beans, and slaw. The ribs came on a platter that we had to cut in half and 4 small cups...More

We were passing through Memphis on our way home and thought you can't go through Memphis without eating good BBQ. This place had good food and a fun atmosphere! The best part was the fast service though! Had probably 20 people in front of us...More

The BBQ was worth the drive but the sides left much to be desired. I ordered macaroni and cheese and it wasn’t baked or seasoned. Did not meet my expectations... Initially I ordered the homestyle chips and they looked (and tasted) like regular bagged chips....More

We walked from our hotel but it seems there was plenty of parking near by. The museum is just across the street and would be closed at that time on a Sunday so that could work.
