Great little spot. We always sit in the bar area. I do recommend reservations. Steaks are great but the Scallops are fantastic.

This was one of the best dinners of our trip, the baked brie was great, we shared a lot of the small plates and each was better than the next. My favorites were the crabcakes, the lobster risotto, and the flat iron steak with bacon tater tots. It was all so good, and the owner welcomed us in on a... More

What a find - agree with other reviewers, food was amazing, waitstaff topnotch. Really like the fact that they had a full menu but also have a 'small plates' menu - meaning super easy to share! Had the Grilled Peach stuffed with Gorgonzola and Arugula, Shrimp and Grits, Buttermilk fried oysters (amazing!), watermelon salad, beef sliders, crab cake crostini with... More

What a find, every menu item we tried was superb. The best smoked salmon I have ever had. The crab cakes and the baked bree were exceptional. Don't miss this place. They went out of their way to welcome us and treat us well.

A recent dinner reminded me of many wonderful meals in years past: a comfortable, friendly restaurant with excellent food. Our group of eight enjoyed a range of excellent offerings; hazelnut crusted goat cheese salad, wile mushroom salad, lobster risotto, vegetable plate, special of the day redfish, seafood pasta, beef and potatoes: all delicious. This is a creative and reliable choice... More

We ate lunch here after to a visit to the Civil Rights Museum and before going to Sun Studio. It's a great location for a lunch stop if you're out and about in Memphis. Street parking. Everything is made fresh. We ordered potato soup (despite the 95 degrees outside!), salads, and sandwiches. They really go above and beyond with attention... More

Love this place. Consistently good food, good service, and friendly wait staff. Love the scallops among other things. My only pet peeve is you always have to ask for butter for their delicious little biscuits they serve as bread. They have a separate full bar area. Great place for special occasions, business, or just a night out.

This place was recommended to us by several people once they found out we were staying at the Madison. It was suggested that we make reservations, but I saw on Open Table that there was availability every 15 minutes so I didn't worry about it. It was a Monday evening so not a busy night, we were able to walk... More

On our first night in Memphis we had dinner at McEwen's. We ordered all the appetizers which were excellent and after we ordered a few entrees that were good as well. We had a few desserts and the evening was a complete success.

We had a great dinner at McEwen's. Great food, atmosphere, and service! The collards were some of the best I've ever had. Delicious cobbler for dessert. Great wine and whiskey list.
