The food is delicious and hot. The only complaint for me is that they charged for extra ranch for the pickles. We had one very tiny ramekin, which was not enough for the order. I don't like it when servers fail to inform customers of extra charges for items.

Since my mom wont be reading this, I can say it was as good as my mom's. The spice on the chicken was great. My lips are still burning 30 minutes later. The baked beans were tasty. I even enjoyed the coleslaw. I dont normally eat coleslaw but this was good.

Truly the best fried chicken I've every had! Cold beer. Nice people. I will not waste calories on any other fried food! Best spicy chicken skin!

As someone who likes somewhat spicy chicken, this chicken is really good. Now, one word of advice, lunch time can get really crowded and you will have to wait but the staff and the customers are really nice. Seating is tight but that is to be expected from a family style restaurant. The mac and cheese is to die for... More

The chicken at Gus's is always served piping hot and always juicy and delicious. I usually order beans and slaw as my sides, but the macaroni and cheese or fried okra are also great choices. Gus's is a favorite of the whole family.

Great fried chicken! It wasn't too hot or spicy, but it was tasty! We got the 12 piece family dinner and cold slaw and baked beans and everything we great! The other one, downtown, had people waiting outside and waiting inside; but here, we were seated immediately and the service was very pleasant!

I ordered the Two Dark pieces of chicken (breast and leg), which came with a piece of white bread, baked beans, and cole slaw. I also had a water and a miller light bottle and my total cost for everything was $10.24!! The flavor of the chicken was amazing! It is a bit spicy your first few bites, but the... More

Loved the fried chicken! A little kick in the batter fried perfectly. We ordered to-go. The staff was so friendly.
