Memphis famous for bbq, but often most places have bbq menus loaded with options for carnivores. Not imagine! Visit this place to satisfy you vegan bbq sandwich cravings. They have many vegan sides to pair with your vegan sandwich. Additionally don’t miss out on their...vegan shakes, I loved the cookies n cream shake. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about vegan lifestyles.More

We have been coming to Imagine Vegan since it was in the old house down the street. We have spent plenty of money and sent plenty of business their way. Today was the worst experience we have ever had. We called in a togo order...and the young named Sandy took our order. We drove 25 minutes to pick up our food only to find when we arrived they were out of the BBQ platter that we ordered. The young lady made one of the orders, but did not bother to let us know they were sold out of the other. When we arrived she notified us and was very short and dismissive. My mom felt very disrespected so she walked out. I do not believe in disrespecting my elders as this young lady did not care. I decided to walk back in and ask the young lady if there was anything they can do for the dropping the ball. She got an attitude and told me she called me back and no one answered. It upset me because she was not telling the truth or she would have mentioned this initially and not to mention I had no missed call or message. Common sense dictates if Sandy called she would have left a message to cover herself. I previously have been in hospitality for over 10 years, so she had no excuse. If she would of apologized, we could have moved on and ordered something else. Once I told her I did not get a call. She simply, said "ok," and turned around as if I was invisible as she did the first time we were in the restaurant. What I find sad is a place that post "Black Lives Matters," signs and preach inclusion treats their black patrons like crap. This is not the first time we have been treated like we are invisible and we are tired of them hiring these young kids with no manners or regard for people who spend money so they can have a job. Blacks spend plenty of money with this establishment to be treated poorly and it is time out for this. We desire everyone to know the truth and this to be addressed by management. People like, Sandy will cost them loyal customers and money. Her attitude is apparent to how she feels about our group of people and it will be associated with Imagine Vegan. We will be doing more reviews and further if we cannot get resolve.More

This restaurant is small and cozy. Rustic charm with hand painted pictures on the walls. While the setting is simple the food is not. Huge vegan menu, creative takes on many standards. The sweet potato mash I had was wonderful. The greens were very tasty...and the spinach dip was the best vegan dip I have tasted. Only suggestion would be to increase the gluten free options, there are a few to choose from but they were a little limited. Gluten free or not, you will eat well at this restaurant!More

We were really excited to try an all vegan restaurant as they are hard to come by. This is not it. My hubby had the chikn and waffles and it looked exactly like trader Joe's chikn that we could have made at home. I had...the gumbo and it was not even close to gumbo... But we are from Louisiana and Texas. The hush puppies were good. The wings were pretty good. But, overall these are things that seemed basic and could be better at home. We've tried places all over and this place does not compare at all.More

This is a nice little restaurant and the food is all vegan. But the food I purchased was extremely high in salt and oils. We would probably come back but we'd beware of our choices. The folks who run this place seem primarily motivated by...love of animals and not necessarily by healthy eating.More

I so wanted to rate this place 5 stars due to the fact that it is all vegan (yay!). Unfortunately the food wasn’t great. It wasn’t bad but I am not a chef and cook much better vegan food than we had. I had a...plant based bacon, tomato, and avocado sandwich. It was good, but the bacon wasn’t great. My husband had the plant based chicken and plant based bacon sandwich...he described it as having no pizazz to it. We also ordered two appetizers...potato skins and (plant based) cheese sticks with marinara....the plant based bacon (again) was not great. The cheese sticks were just ok. We also had a side of mac and plant based cheese...not bad, not very good. We were in Memphis for a few days and are totally vegan, but did not return. Service was good. There are a couple of tables outside for seating as well.More

I've been wanting to try them out since I moved to the memphis area..and I finally got the chance to today. They do have a variety of options on the menu that's very much appreciated..but I ended up only ordering the spicy chicken sandwich..which came...with a side ( I chose the mac & cheese) and I ordered the cheese sticks.. The cheese sticks were pretty good but I feel like they were fried absolutely to hard..The chicken sandwich was lackluster( it looks like simple store bought vegan chicken tenders that were fried and dipped in hot sauce on a regular bun with vegan mayo, iceberg lettuce and a piece of tomato)..the mac and cheese tasted like daiya mac & cheese out of the box..but the ranch was good.More

We had the Fried Chicken Sandwich with a side salad and the Vegan Memphis Sandwich Platter. The baked beans were so salty, neither of us could eat them. We also experienced the ranch dressing being entirely too salty as well. The food was all very...unimaginative, with most being frozen food reheated with nothing extra being done in their preparation. Even the buns were cheap, white hamburger buns (think store brand cheap quality). The dining area was chilly enough, that all patrons kept their coats/jackets on while eating. If they tried just a little bit, they could have a great little place. Instead they took the lazy way out and provide cheap, easy to put out just barely edible food. I would never eat here again.More
