This is where you have breakfast in the morning, dinner and drinks in the evening. There is a rich history behind this bar so it is a landmark of its own.

Don't go here for lunch. Once the breakfast buffet is over, lunch pretty much sucks. The ham and cheese sandwich was awful. This is a breakfast place and drinks place for the evening. Forget lunch and dinner.

Just not all that great in terms of the food. I have HIGH expectations when coming to Memphis and the fried chicken here was very over done and the gravy was awful. I mean really awful. The smashed potatos were good and the beans but the serving size was tiny and the overall was just not up to expectations. I... More

I was staying in the Doubletree, this is their restaurant, and visited the breakfast buffet. Nice layout, continental area or full buffet with anything you may wish for...even eggs to order. Asked for hot tea with honey, it arrived with no cup to drink it from, teabag was immersed in the cute little pot....bag, string, tag and all...but, no honey... More

Great buttermilk southern fried chicken - melted in my mouth. I got this through room service and it came with mashed potatoes and about four green beans - if you order ask for more beans. Jack Daniels pecan pie rounded out the meal. Needless to say it was easy to sleep that night!

I was able to eat here one night during my stay. I was not looking forward to eating hotel food but I have to say it was really good. I had a Cajun pasta and it was excellent. The staff was also very nice and attentive. I highly recommend the chance to eat here.

Steak was good, margarita was average. Waitress more interested in visiting with clients at bar than serving. Heard more "F" bombs and a few "P" bombs than I expected in this type establishment. Wait and management staff need to monitor these things and ask people to quite down or find someplace else. We should all be comfortable. A bit disappointed... More

the service, quality and selection of the food provided was mediocre at best. Definitely not worth the $13 that they charge you. You're better off to walk across the parking lot to the whole foods grocery store and get something healthy.
