We walked in and were seated, but I couldn't stand the cigarette smoke to stay more than 5 minutes. Disappointing as the reviews are good!

We were walking around the block in downtown Memphis near our hotel and spotted the Bardog. It's a nice little place that serves food, so we went in for a bite. They advertise the world's best sliders, so of course, we had to try them. They were great! The service was fast and friendly and the ambiance was a nice... More

Was in town for a medical appointment. Bardog Tavern was close to the hotel. Very comfortable atmosphere, the service was great, and the penne pasta with chicken was delicious!!! Sports TV's were on, but not too loud. Prices were reasonable. I plan to go back when staying downtown.

I frequent Bardog and have never had a bad experience here. The food is terrific. the island club and the surf and turf are great.

The bartender had excitement and really brought a good attitude to the place. We tried breakfast shots - which we have never had before and we absolutely loved. Good mix of people and kept us there longer than we originally intended. Good times!

We have eaten here many times in the past, took friends that had never been there before. The food is home made and excellent, super large portions, very friendly and knowledgeable staff, fun atmosphere!!

Our carriage ride thru Memphis took us past Bardog Tavern. The driver recommended the place for a variety of food and atmosphere. She was 100% correct on both. The food was excellent and the atmosphere perfect. Truth be told we left Beale Street as I found it to be a bit boring. Growing up near the French Quarter/Bourbon Street kind... More

Arrived in Memphis to cool wet weather. Wandered down Main Street looking for a drink and snack and found Bardog Tavern. Received a warm welcome from the bartender as well as good recommendations on local brews (Wiseacre Brewing) and food (beef sliders, chili cheese fries and mud pie). Good prices, friendly folks. Great stop!

Get off Beale, go to Main and stop at Bardog. The bartender had a server call in but she did not skip a beat. She managed to get to us fast and the beer was cold!
