I was on a trip with my sister and niece and we were staying at The Guest House and had breakfast in the morning and it was very enjoyable, especially because of our Waitress, Dionne, who was so very sweet and accommodating.
As higher end hotel restaurants go this place was surprisingly good. The appetizer, the mains, the wine were all perfectly prepared, cooked and served. Then the dessert came, strawberry shortcake. I’m not a dessert person but on advice I gave in and tried it..... amazing.
This restaurant is appealing to the eye because of the linens, glassware and furniture. The menu is “foo foo”, fried green tomatoes with jelly on top, grilled quail (which my grandson loved), no “regular salad” or baked potatoes.
