There is a $10 per for entertainment. The food and music are great. But, the service is terrible. First our order was not taken for 30 minutes when another service us. She told our server and 15 minutes later she came over. We ordered salads...with our meals and they did not show up. Then afterward they bring the salad. I mentioned this to the manager who got us napkins and utensils and offered dessert. The server interrupted me 3 times while I was eating to order dessert obviously trying to get rid of us. Also, the band who was great kept begging for tips which I kicked in $10 in addition the$20More

I usually love bbq and I love live music. I also love to have my music loud enough to feel it. With that being said, if you decide to eat hear when the live band is playing be prepared to experiene average overpriced food in...an enviroment where it is impossible to have a conversation with the person next to you. The BBQ chicken seemed to be baked in an oven with bbq sauce baked on it. The chicken was dry and had very little to no bbq flavor once the outer crust of sauce was gone. The bbq ribs also seem to be baked in an oven with a layer of sauce baked and actually burnt on the ribs which leaves a burnt aftertaste. The coleslaw and baked beans were average. I don't mind paying a cover charge, but if I do I expect to be able to see the performance. We were seated behind the stage which was literally in a window space which at some point must have been used to display sometype of merchandise. The BB King All Star Band was good as long as they were singing and not screaming over the mic. I love loud music but this was to the point of making the performer's voices distorted. It was definitely a relief when the band took a break. During the break, it was nice to be able to have a conversation with the person next to you without screaming in each others ear. We made sure to leave before the band returned from their break.More

This place was worth the cover charge plus meal! The RIBS are so tender and fall off the bone....when I tell you all that was left was CLEANED Bones....them bones was clean as a whistle! Everything was great, baked beans, coleslaw, and the roll that...came with it...I added a side of mac & cheese and had to order myself some to go with the catfish bites! On top of all of that GREAT Entertainment! The BB King All-Star Band will have you in that place until it's time to shut it down! I'll be back again and will be sure to visit everything I come to MemphisMore

this was a great choice. Prices were reasonable. Live music was nice but it was high school kids so...not what we expected at all.

Had an upstairs seat with an awesome view of the band. Band was great as you would expect. But what really surprised me was the ribs. They say they are known for their ribs , I can see why. They were delicious. Meat just fell...right off the bone. Good margaritas also.More

Food was great!!! Music was great!! Most of the staff was awesome!! Our server, was just awful!! I guess I expected more. Waited 15 mins to get our drink order in, watched her give the host a hard time because he sat people in her...section. Maybe she was over whelmed, maybe a bad day. Not sure but it was bad service. The food, music and rest of the staff was enough to make us go back. You should still go just be patient.More

Great place with great music and great staff... although, had a member of staff named Delvin that I asked for the cheque from.. he told me I couldn't pay hom as I had to pay my server, that's ok I understood that.. I then pulled...$85 from my wallet to count and he stormed up to my table, which I was at with my mum, to tell me how I'm no better than him and how angry he was. I then complained to my server, and told her to bring him back up to me to tell what he was saying in case I misunderstood, he then came up in a fit of rage to ball and shout at me to tell me I was lying! My mum was with me and can testify that he was an arrogant a*&*hole who should not be working in such a great establishment! I'd go back to this place in a heartbeat, but not with an arrogant member of staff like Delvin... my mother was actually really frightened. Really poor and this arrogant individual should be sacked and should never work with the public.. he was ranting and raving about other members of staff upon our arrival too so he's just boiling and I would not be surprised if his violence turns physical very soon. BB Kings - get rid of this individual.. he does not fit in with your amazing venue.. loved this place and so sorry to be giving it 1 star, but this really ruined my mums and I experience which I got her for her 50th birthday!More

5/4/22: Visiting from Dallas, TX. First time here. Cover charge was $10 per person. We were seated at a table upstairs with a nice view of the stage. We saw two bands perform and both were pretty good. Blues and beer, good combination. The food...was ok. I recommend the pork tater tots and house fries. Lindsay was a great hostess, and she was very busy, tending to guests.More

I saw the good reviews and thought I'd check it out. A classic dark blues bar. A bit of a tourist trap - to be expected - but the rib sandwich was one of the best I've ever had.

I had the pulled pork, my husband had the Blues Burger. The food was delicious! We were there in the afternoon so no wait, but also no live music. The host and the waiter were friendly. I tight the prices were reasonable.

Music was great. To get a higher ranking would need many more gluten-free options. Server lacked a basic knowledge of the menu and seemed rushed and irritated to have to go ask questions about . On a positive note the catfish and ribs were cooked...very well. Would go again if for nothing else the music.More

We went for lunch and had the fried pickle chips as appetizer. Lunch plates were BBQ chicken, shrimp and grits, shrimp appetizer (as a lunch meal) and the rib/catfish plate. All were really good. Plus, the music was great. Will be back.

it is downtown about 20 minutes away around the corner from Beale street. Uber is best or lyft. We had difficulty with both ride share services while in town and ended up multiple times with a taxi
