The place is big and brash, difficult to be hearty I suppose. The music was superb, drinks expensive and the seats uncomfortable. You need to visit at least once.

Ate lunch there on an early Sunday morning. The blues musicians were excellent (the harmonica player was the best I've heard in a long time) and the atmosphere filled with history. Food was super! Service fast and friendly. The bathrooms were a tad scary...not the...More

I have a great time this past Sunday night, they had a band but no cover charge. I have shrimp as an appetizer and the dry ribs for dinner. The band was very entertaining and great selections.

They do serve food here, but we were here for music and drinks. There was a $5 cover charge for each of us, but it was fun to soak in the environment, people watch and listen to some great music!

We went for a couple of drinks but the music was so good that we forgot about the drinks and have a great night listening to the live band. And then we have a couple of Bourbons.

The catfish is excellent especially the sauce, but the excellent music is great. A bit rude at the door trying to keep people in waiting, but after you go in the atmosphere is fun. Great bands and their webpage lists the bands playing each night....More
