Called in here after they had stopped serving but the chef took pity on us and rustled up some great food in 10 mins. Would definitely return here if in the area.Highly recommended.

What a refreshing place to visit. It seems recently refurbished/decorated, with a separate restaurant area and offers a decent pub menu, including snack items. The steak pie was delicious - generous portion and very flavoursome. I've been in over the last few months for various functions - karaoke, music nights, Saturday lunch, Sunday afternoon darts and pool and receive a... More

They offer a good selection of ales, have an ample selection of meals (the fish and chips was excellent) and the barmaid (I hope she is still there)... More

Enjoyed lunch today. Had starter & main. In reflection this was too much. Staff friendly & helpful. If looking for a clean, friendly welcoming pub which does good food then visit the cycle tavern. Will happily go back again.
