We visited the beautiful tea room on a rainy mid-week day. The lunch menu was extensive but we both enjoyed a light bite. Followed by lovely cake/biscuits! The staff were so lovely and chatty. They made us feel very welcomed and showed an interested in where we had come from and what else we were visiting. It's a gorgeous cafe... More

Second visit during this unseasonable and long lived high pressure spell. I think people call this 'summer'. Great location and they make the most of it, with floor to ceiling windows and outdoor seating. Great coffee and a fine veggie breakfast. Some wilted spinach would be a great addition to it. Had a brownie too and the only grumble is... More

It's been a while since last there. Cafe/restaurant has new owners just a few weeks ago. Open on some evenings now too .... Still a great place to eat. Some changes made which I think improve the ambience. And the plans for live music evenings will be a great attraction too. Wishing the new owners well with the venture.

Wonderful little place, with magnificent views over Loch Katrine. Good menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They also do good coffee, scones and cakes, as well as confectionery and ice cream. They are licenced and have a good range of bottled beers and ciders. The staff are friendly, efficient and really helpful. Dog friendly too. There is outdoor seating also.

Extremely friendly and great food in absolutely idyllic surroundings. A definite must visit place for anybody touring this area. Leave plenty of time though as its a long slow drive there and back.

Lovely little tea room with delicious food, a warm welcome and it was dog friendly. We were welcomed by resident dog Castro and owner. Service and food were great.

I had a day off in Glasgow and so having rented a car, I headed off for Loch Lomond to go bird-watching. On the way back from Inversnaid, I saw a sign for the Pier Tea Room and decided to investigate; I am so glad I did. I arrived to a very friendly welcome, just as some fresh fruit scones... More
