Fantastic food - we had fish. It was really fresh. The cooking and presentation style were just perfect - it was SO tasty. Definitely recommend this place for evening meals - go for the fish dishes - they were so fresh and tasty!

We were staying at a woodland cabin in Loch Tay but couldn't eat at the on site restaurant. This was the first place we passed on the road to Killin. When we went in, we had a look at the menu which was reasonable, albeit not ideal for me (vegetarian, that doesn't eat pasta or rice). However, I was able... More

Bob, the manager is very friendly as is all his staff, lovely ales and food. Play area to back for kids as well as a seating area overlooking a stream at front of pub.

Visited the restaurant last night with friends. Impressed with every aspect of the service. The staff were friendly yet professional, the menu choice was mouth watering and the food served was superb. A fantastic evening in a cosy, quaint and relaxing environment. Not our first visit and won't be our last. Thank you!

Dining was a real pleasure here - we were in the bar because we had a dog with us, but we had the restaurant menu and it worked out really well. Breakfast is served in a separate area with all meals cooked to order. Great team effort

This is a lovely restaurant with very helpful staff that uses local and Scottish ingredients. The gluten free menu was also very varied as we had a coeliac in our party and he thoroughly enjoyed his meal.

Visited here most times we've been to Killin over the last 17 years. One of my wife's favourite places to eat. Has an old fashioned traditional feel (a compliment!) with really friendly staff and a good choice of local produce on their menus.

Stopped off without booking and were fitted in. Starters were good my husband enjoyed his soup. I had Lochay hunters chicken and the chips were home made and lovely. My husband had steak and mushroom pie which had lovely suet pastry Base. Mash potatoes were creamy and tasty he was left to full for pudding.
