We ate here for lunch and had a two course meal, it was a horrible rainy day but we got a really nice warm welcome here. Slight mistake with my soup - I got brought a meat soup when I ordered the veggie one but it was soon sorted out with a lot of apologies. I ordered salad, really nice... More

After a long morning of climbing up Conic Hill, taking in the breath-taking views, coming back down to The Oak Tree Inn was amazing! Best fish and chips around! And lovely desserts too! Sat inside - it is so cosy and welcoming!

The food and the service was really good and filling. I actually had a pizza which was one of the best I have eaten in this country (and I've had a few!) The bar could have been better run though and cleaning tables in the bar seemed to be something unheard of on the night we were there.

This was a great location for dinner while we were staying near Loch Lomond. The food was very good and they accommodated me since I have a food allergy (I have Celiac Disease and they had gluten-free options). While we waited for our food I was able to walk our two young children around the area and look at the... More

Excellent food in general, and the best pizza we've ever tasted - definitely recommend trying the goat's cheese and beetroot pizza with rocca - it was amazing! The inn is right next to the loch so you have a wonderful view and there's outside seating too if you want it (couple of wasps buzzing about so we sat indoors among... More

We stayed here for a night while doing a week tour of Scotland. It's the perfect setting right on Loch Lomond. We stayed in the pods which are brand new, clean and comfy. Dinner was hearty, local and tasty. Packed with residents and passers by. Buzzing bar with beers and whiskies galore. My husband and I were laughing at a... More

Friendly staff, beautiful location and the food is delicious. We have eaten here on several occasions and have never been disappointed. Service and quality is always fantastic. If in the area this wee gem is a must - The fish & chips are the best!

On a quick trip to Scotland to see what it was like. Stumbled upon the inn by accident but it was superb. Staff were nice, nice setting for the inn in general, clean and the food was superb. Only shame was the wifi hasn't been working in a while (from what our waiter said) but not a worthy reason to... More
