We ate there two nights, one when we arrived (after 9pm) and the kitchen was closed so they had a pizza only menu, but it was very good. thin crust. On the Saturday we had a proper meal, everything was very good. You can eat either in the restaurant or in the bar, we sat down around 7 and we... More

A family run award winning Inn on the banks of Loch Lomond in Balmaha. Reachable by local bus from Balloch and Drymen. There's also a coffee shop and small grocery, gift shop attached. Love to sit outside in the summer or in the cozy bar with fire in the winter months. Food is excellent with choices for all, including a... More

I had been the the Oak Tree on a number of occasions, often for a drink after a walk in the beautiful surrounding countryside, and for food on a few occasions, too. As a pub, I really like it; they keep a good selection of well-kept beers on rotation, normally with at least one local brew. The beer has always... More

It is a beautiful place to be and this Inn was at the right place after our hard walk up to the Hill. We ordered fish and chips and it was amazing. Mushy peas were tasty, the batter on the fish best ever in my life and the chips were really hand cut. We also bought some their own beer.

We ate and drank here whilst camping locally. Good atmosphere in the pub - we preferred to eat here rather than the restaurant. Vast menu. We shared a large mussels, some Scottish Salmon and some black pudding. Reasonably priced. Good coffee. Nice red wine. Prosecco by the glass. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

The first thing that strikes you when you enter is eye-catching and unique decor. The place is busy, especially on weekends, so you may need to wait for a table but it is well worth it. If the weather is nice pick up a patio table overlooking Loch Lomond or Conic Hill. We went for their signature Oak Tree Burger... More

We were trying part of the West Highland way and stopped here for lunch and it was so good! We had the Arctic Charr as main between the two of us and it was so well cooked and tasty! Plenty of options for drinks and space

The bar is charming and woodsy and very welcoming! There are several regular dining rooms if you prefer....and an outdoor patio area as well. Very diverse menu and the food was well prepared and plenty!
