Visited for a late lunch on Saturday afternoon on short notice, and the staff could not have been more accommodating. We had our two year old with us, as well as my partner's elderly gran, who is local to the area, and there was something suited to everyone on the menu. They seated us right away, giving my partner the... More

My husband, myself and two friends enjoyed a lovely meal in this warm, friendly Inn which has the title of being the oldest in Scotland. I would definitely return here and would not hesitate to recommend it and/or bring friends along with us.

Stopped in for lunch I had the loaded skins and partner had the black pudding fritters both were great tasting and beautifully presented. Had a pizza to share afterwards it was great, been a while since we had a proper thin pizza that was as well done as this. Staff were very helpful.

We ESPECIALLY loved our visit to the adjoining bar where locals can bring their DOGS -- WHAT FUN. We were welcomed... More

After a coach trip out we spent the afternoon here for drinks only and were very happy. A log fire, congenial hostess and friendly locals.

Popped in on our way home for lunch. What a fab place to have lunch! The oldest pub in Scotland serving great food. A lovely menu, good portions and friendly staff. I'd definitely visit again and make sure it's before 1 as it suddenly got very busy! No wonder, it's great.
