Nine of us came trudging into the Kilted Skirlie having done the shops and the aquarium. We were all hungry and were not disappointed with anything! The haggis and black pudding starter was amazing as were the steak pies, burgers, salmon and haggis entrees. We all enjoyed dessert and ordered one of each so that they could be passed and... More

We came here and had the set menu. The vegetarian pasta was ok but nothing to rave about. My partners burger was nice and pudding was ok. It was quite reasonably cheap so I can't grumble. The staff were lovely and attentive.

We sat outside on an upstairs balcony and enjoyed the lovely view over Loch Lomond. We were served generous portions of decent chicken, with what seemed to be the last few mixed vegetables from the bottom of the pan and a potato cake. The tables hadn't been cleaned very well after previous diners, and the pleasant staff were presumably too... More

So we go in thinking the name suggests a Scottish themed menu, which it was...kind of, then we noticed the Mexican, Asian and Cajun additions to the menu. It all seemed a bit odd, with no real cohesion. We were served by 5 different members of staff, again a bit odd. But the icing on the cake was when we... More

Me and my partner went here for some lunch after a boat trip on loch lomond. We were seen to straight away and given plenty time to choose what we wanted. The staff were very attentive. We chose off the menu where you can get two courses for £11.95. My partner chose the chicken in the heather and it was... More

A comfortable setting with a fabulous view over Loch Lomond. We chose to sit inside but there is also a good-sized dining terrace outside. There are several Scottish favourites on the menu and we chose two of them. Service was friendly, helpful and fast while the portions were generous. A good place for family and friends to sit, eat and... More

On a stroll to check out the area and happened upon this place. An upstairs eatery. We sat on the deck , ordered some fish and chips! Our first day in Scotland. Had glass of wine and enjoyed the action below. Sits on the shores of Loch Lomond. Little beach, park for the kids, walk way around the park. You... More
