Very busy place so best to book in advance. Very busy for a reason, because its good. Good food, good service, great wee bar as well with great staff. Locals mix well. Overall would certainly come back again without hesitation.

Had a meal with my girlfriend and her mum. The restaurant is nice, has WiFi which is a plus, is well decorated and most of all the Loch View is stunning. I had lasagne, always a bonus when it comes with chips. Enjoyed the meal. Had whisky mac cheesecake which was delicious and not too heavy either. Would definitely (and... More

The location cannot be faulted, with huge windows and a fantastic view overlooking the loch. The food is fine, but fairly average.

We hadn't booked however were offered a table immediately. Looked as if we were lucky as the restaurant soon filled up. To be honest I thought the menu was unimaginative. I had the prawns in batter with sweet chilli sauce, definitely deep frozen, my daughter the ham hock terrine. For mains I had the steak from the specials board. It... More

Unusually there was no "Roast" on offer, However there was a good choice and the venison casserole was absolutely fabulous. It was served with beautifully cooked veg. The sticky toffee pudding was first class too. Not very busy but pleasant staff and fantastic views across Loch Sunart.

Myself and my family had dinner in the restaurant last night and everything we ordered was delicious. I had the caramelised onion pie which was delicious and the chips were amazing. My husband had the gammon steak which he said was also delicious and my daughter loved her pasta. There were no starters my daughter fancied, so they accommodated her... More

This place has had a refurbishment since I was here last, looks very nice staff friendly, food worse than poor beer not so good either. I think they need to employ a proper chef to fit in with their refurbishment if they carry on serving poor food they won't be in business very long. AVOID

Went here on the recommendation of the guest house we were staying in. Very popular with locals and tourists alike. Loved the steak and onion pie. Would definitely go back if I was in the area.
