Lemon chicken was dry and greasy, with an artificial tasting lemon sauce, spare ribs were chewy and the spring rolls quite tasteless. I have been to the Hong regularly over the last ten years and was very disappointed this time. Not sure... More

I used to love this restaurant. Don't really know what's happened but it has gone downhill drastically..! My wife and I went for a Saturday evening meal/buffet and we couldn't have been more disappointed. My wife asked for a sweet rose wine, only to be given a dry wine and was told that was all that was available. any old... More

This restaurant is a typical Chinese in a typical village. It is quite basic in terms of decor and a bit tatty. Try not to get the table for two nearest the kitchen door, the staff walk past the table at pace and the wooden floor literally springs like a trampoline and the table wobbles like crazy. The staff are... More

Good chinese buffet that bring the buffet to you hot and fresh. Very poor parking outside this restaurant. However once you get over that all is good. A very varied menu of chinese food cooked fresh for you. Starter platters are very good. Varied desserts and everyones favourite banana fritters. The only thing about the menu would say is that... The staff were lovely, very busy and attentive. A few cans of juice and a really nice bill. Great value night out. Lovely food cant fault it.... More

Visited here for a family celebration but can honestly say that the service is really slipping. Ordered a glass of wine and was given the wrong kind then they said they didn't serve the one I wanted by the glass. Ordered a normal coffee and a brandy but on checking the bill after I had paid I had been charged... More

Use this Chinese as our main takeaway, food is always good and is very tasty, but do check your order on the way out as they are prone to forgetting the odd item, that's for pick up and delivery. Would recommend them though.
