Had a meal here while staying one night in Tarbert. Adjoining a smart hotel, possible same owners? Restaurant a bit dated, food average but one of the few places open. The staff seemed to want you out as soon as you had finished, all a bit rushed.

An nice pub but not really a drinking pub for an eatery even though they have a restaurant. Staff very friendly. A modern pub I prefer the traditional pub where you an sit and have a drinks and talk to the locals

While not staying at the hotel, decided to have dinner here. The menu was somewhat limited and less fish than I expected. Opted for the venison burger which was very good with red onion. Desert also good. Lovely garden and staff friendly and attentive. We were staying nearby at the Hebrides Hotel where I think the food is better based... More

Ate in this restaurant as one of the few places open but while décor etc is a little dated the food, while average, was well presented and the staff were most welcoming. Just ate in the bar but had breakfast in the restaurant and again clean and lovely staff and freshly cooked local food - what is not to like

I always enjoy visits to this restaurant. The staff are very welcoming and the service is excellent. It was lovely to see a wide selection of locally sourced foods on the menu, such as haggis and black pudding. The haggis starter was very light and not too peppery, as haggis can sometimes taste. The seafood linguine was delicious and I... More

Went on a Sunday as was one of the few places open. We were sat in the bar, service was good without being great, both had sandwiches, which again were good without being great.

Good menu, prepared and served well. Dining room is a little dated. Not top class but then again sensibly priced.

We called in between lunch and dinner hours but were offered soup and toasties. The summer vegetable soup was delicious and the toasted ciabattas with salad were tasty and served nicely. Tea and coffee was served in lovely silver pots . The staff were friendly and attentive. To top it off had a Harris gin from the bar. Would definitely... More

Stopped here for Sunday breakfast. 7.95 for continental and full Scottish. Absolutely delicious. Good wifi connection. Also listening to table of 4 next all their breakfasts were delicious also. Didn't stay so cannot comment on rooms.
