Another Great Meal

You really can't go wrong at the Cross Keys in Kippen. The menu has a few excellent pub grub standards like stovies, or bangers and mash ( courtesy of the village butcher) and more gastronomic delights such as lamb tagine, slow roasted Ayrshire pork belly or braised LX-cheek with horseradish mash... read more

Basically, fantastic! Couldn't fault the experience. Felt incredibly well looked after. Food, wine and beer: top notch. Very comfy room. Will definitely be back.

Very relaxing double room. Cozy bar/restaurant with a great buzz and warming log fires. Fantastic, high quality and very tasty food served by friendly staff and a great breakfast. We'll definitely be back.

This was my first visit and have to say 'what a find'. A busy lunchtime when we arrived so had to wait a while for our meal to be served but must say it was well worth the wait! The food was simply sublime! It will now become a regular stop-off when in the area, and I can highly recommend... More

We escaped the madding crowds of Stirling the week before Christmas. We found the Cross Keys, Kippen, an old fashioned, no-nonsense pub with a real fire, and o fuss seating. The menu was plain and simple but the food was home cooked, no, really, it was actually cooked in the kitchen, not unwrapped and reheated. Even the chips were from,... More

A large group of us stopped here on a club cycle. A great place to warm up again in the winter with the open fire on in the bar. Soup and sandwiches were really good, and a good selection of drinks.

I have eaten in this pub on several occasions and always had good food and service. Dinner on Wednesday night was no exception. I had suggested The Cross Keys to a couple of work colleagues (one visiting from London) and both were keen to go somewhere a bit different from the usual big-chain pubs/restaurants in Stirling. It was worth the... More

Visited on a cold wintry day & we received a warm welcome as soon as we walked in the door - as well as the heat from the fireplace. Excellent menu choice plus two starter specials. The food was well cooked, surroundings very warm and ticked all the boxes of a well run country pub. We will be back

Been a couple of times and plan to come back lots more. Warm, comfortable and friendly. Excellent food - particularly the Moroccan lamb. And the packs of cards in the shelf behind our table was lovely - made a change to do something together rather than everyone disappearing into a gadget.
