What has happened to Lemon Grass? We have ordered Rama Curry here for years with appetizers of sushi. Our Chicken Rama Curry was so bland, not the rich, tasty dish we have enjoyed for years. The chicken was tough, not seasoned at all. The sauce...was blah! Lemon Grass has always been one of our go to restaurants in Maryville but NO MORE!More
Wonderful vacation dinner at Lemon Grass Thai restaurant. We got the $23.99 Dinner for 2 with Spicy Basil and Shrimp Pad Thai with Spring rolls. We also ordered the Volcano roll which was $9. The volcano roll was fresh and delicious. Both of our entrees...were perfect and the Spring rolls were crispy and hot. I would highly recommend this restaurant.More
My family stopped at the Lemon Grass on May 5. The building appears ordinary from the outside but the interior is nicely decorated, the service professional, and the food is wonderful. I particularly recommend the walnut shrimp. The Lemon Grass will be a regular stop...for us when we are in Maryville.More
Stopped here while vacationing and loved it. We had the Pad Thai and it was very good. Our waitress was attentive and very helpful. The price was very good and portions were large. Only downfall was parking was limited, but that’s not enough to prevent...our return.More
This was my first, and last time. I had them vegetable tempura which was obviously pre-prepared sliced vegetables dipped in batter that was dropped in a fryer and served. This was definitely not fresh vegetables that were cut up, put in tempura and then fried....The server was very nice and the restaurant seemed clean. Again, the food was sub-par and not worth eating again.More
We have waited for this place to open again after being shut for COVID. We were in the area and decided to finally try it. We have eaten at many Thai places throughout the country. This was poor I'm sorry to say because it gets...such good ratings on TA. The chicken was boiled in water. I know how to cook and water boiled chicken has a particular flavor and texture.More
I did takeout today. I had the cashew chicken. Food was definitely fresh. Very hot. Service was very polite. The pickup is odd because it’s slightly larger than a phone booth - maybe 2 phone booths. The meat, vegetables, and rice were great but the...sauce hade a strong raw fish taste. At least, I attributed it to the sauce. Maybe it was cross contamination. I’m not sick from it, but it had a different taste. The people were very nice but I am unlikely to return.More
Lemon Grass is my favorite lunch destination. Always perfect service, very polite staff. Good place for a meal and conversation, not noisy with piped in ugh music. The Talipia is my favorite dish.Good wine selection, good sushi. I highly recommend this place, happy to have...it so close to home!More
The food here is excellent and we've never been disappointed. Cashew nut chicken, grouper, gyoza, cheese rolls are all fabulous. They require masks but room for pick up is VERY small and should be one person at time. If this is a concern, be advised.
I love the Shrimp Pai Tai, and cashew chicken. Dinner is double the price of lunch and not much larger portions. Thy do have random box lunches under $10 but you have to call because the chef chooses it each day. I'll b glad when...thy reopen for indoor dining.More
Been wanting to try this place for a long time. Food was not bad, but was hoping for better. I had heard that it was really good, so maybe it's just me. But my wife was disappointed as well.
We had been to a lot of Thai restaurants all over the country and looked forward to this since it had good reviews. In our experience, this one is a little below average. The flavors were very bland and portions were small. We always try...Tom Kha soup, and this one was watery with very weak flavor. Often portions at Thai restaurants are large for the price, but the cup of Tom Kha for $4.50 was literally about a cup (maybe less). The green curry is listed as a little spicy but had no spice and very little flavor. Our children seemed happy with their chicken satay, fried rice, and vegetables with brown sauce but generally like bland food. Finally, our server was nice but not experienced or knowledgeable about Thai food, and she wasn’t attentive to refill our waters. We do not plan to return.More
Knowledge of Philip. The food was always good and prices were moderate. We placed our order, and went to pick it up Our bill came to $40 plus. I don't think we will go back again.
Tables beautifully set, staff friendly. We had a fantastic server, Kayla. Our group ordered Crispy Tuna Sushi, Spring Roll, Chicken Satay, Pad see ew, Chicken Rama and Chicken Panang. While the style was a bit different than we were used to, all were very good,...and substitutions were provided per request. Our special dietary diner was given special attention, Kayla went above and beyond to aid in selection. The menu had our favorite dishes listed and new we'll have to try. Adding to our list, we'll be back!More
