This place is awesome! Authentic, delicious, fresh food and the owner is super friendly and he bakes the naan fresh to order! Our whole family loved it- we will definitely be back- love supporting local small business owners.
I wish more people knew about this place. Help advertise for a locally owned restaurant with unique food! Lord knows we need more of these. Skip the frozen burgers and chicken fingers. Have homemade food instead. Excellent flavor. Not very spicy. The naan is made...fresh while you wait. No, it’s not a ton of food, but it’s healthy and satisfying.More
My husband and I had lunch at Masala-IndoPac Grill yesterday. It is a small store front with a few tables. The menu is limited, but the food is delicious!. My husband and I have been trying to find good Indian food since we moved here...2 years ago. We are so happy to have finally found Masala.
There are only a few tables for eat-in or you might want to get a takeout order. When you order your meal, it is prepared fresh for you as you wait. We had samosas, butter chicken, chicken masala and naan. All dishes were perfectly spiced. All dishes were delicious. The naan was freshly made and hot - the best I have had in a long time.
I highly recommend this restaurant.More
I don't even know how I became aware of this eatery, but I am delighted I did! The menu is limited, but there are still plenty of choices. Even for vegetarians. The food is totally fresh and cooked with passion. That's obvious in the way...the owner presents himself and his food. The food is delicious, filled with wonderful flavor and mostly prepared while you wait. The prices are equivalent to a fast food restaurant with far more flavor and nutrition. Do not be misled by the hole-in-the-wall appearance and atmosphere. It is so nice to have an Indian restaurant in town. I hope people will discover and support this eatery so that it stays here for a very, very long time.More
A friend who probably would never eat Indian food told us about this new restaurant in Maryville and asked if we had tried it. It didn't even take us a day to get there and we were very impressed and surprised with the quality of...the food and friendliness of the owner and value for what we received. The owner does it all--from taking the orders to cooking the food to serving the meals and cleaning up. All that hard work and he still stays friendly.
One word of advice: If you are looking for a fancy place with lots of ambiance, this isn't it...But who cares when you get such excellent food. Anyone who's used to eating in ethnic kitchens in places like New york or any big city will not be bothered by the small restaurant with its own kind of charm. there are 4 four-place tables and looks like it's more suited to take-out orders. But grab or share a table and enjoy the excellent food. My wife and I shared the butter chicken with rice, chicken kababs with a coriander yogurt sauce and bhindi (okra) masala, all with sides of fresh homemade naan bread. Forget all the fast food joints that litter West Broadway (US-411 south) and try some authentic indo/paki food from Masala.More
