Absolutely superb!!!

Me and my grandparents went there last weekend and I thought the food was top notch all the way through to the end of the meal. I had the trio of meats for main course and the vanilla rice pudding topped with cream and they were both excellent.

Booked for 4 of us for my 21+ year old daughter. Pleasant greeting on arrival by waiter who took our coats - checked it wasn't going to be too warm for us next to the fire then took our order for drinks. Ordered 3 x starters and The Cullen Skink was by far THE BEST I have ever tasted !... More

Hello, I met with friends for lunch in the Minishant Inn. It was a perfect choice. The décor was impeccable. The service great, I loved the tartan trousers on the staff; a wonderful touch. The food was fresh and delicious, fish and chips with a home made tartar sauce. It was just perfect. The whole experience was ten out of... More

My husband and I called in on the way home, it was our first visit. The surroundings are very comfortable with a relaxed atmosphere. We were greeted by a very friendly waiter. The lunch time special of two or three courses offers great value for money, with plenty of choice. The portion sizes are generous and the quality of the... More

This was my first visit to this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. Decor was lovely and clean with Christmas theme. They had a choice of two menu's. Set price for either 2 or 3 courses or the main menu. We opted for the 3 course set menu. Choices were excellent and the food was beautifully presented and tasty. Advice would... More

Found this place on the way home from Culzean Castle. Food was fantastic and staff really friendly. To be honest from the outside I was not expecting this place to be very good but I was pleasantly surprised. Well worth a visit.

Just back from a nice meal at The Minishant.....however, a few issues. Firstly we were sat at a table far too close to another pair of diners when there were other tables available which would have given us a more pleasant experience. When the menus arrived my husband had the set menu of 3 courses and i had 2 courses!... More

We had lunch and it was simply fantastic! We have been several times before, but this was our first visit for nearly a year, and we were delighted with the changes to the inside of the restaurant. The choice of food was very extensive, and the quality of our meal was first calls. Staff were young, but extremely helpful and... More

I came here after reading reviews on trip advisor. I am glad I did. The service was efficient and polite, the food was piping hot and fresh....always a good sign. Quite small but that is just the way it is. Definitely a place to book and not just drop in. Aye safe to say, would go back and there was... More
