As a resident of Troon this restaurant was always the "go to" place for quality fresh seafood. Sadly it has been the focus of adverse publicity due to critical food & hygiene inspections. This unfortunately tarnishes the reputation of what appears still to be at "front of shop" a good eating place.

If you want an out of the way sea food place, try this one. Has a friendly atmosphere and attentive waiters. Food was nicely done, a tad expensive. Wide range of drinks available. If I have to mention one bad point, it was the coffee, they made it using boiling water, when it should be allowed to cool slightly before... More

Have never been disappointed after many visits to this restaurant. There is nothing "fancy" about it, but the service is good and the fish is as fresh as it can be. Lobster is especially good.

Six seals in the harbour. Warm smokey, cream delicious Cullen Skink with crunchy fresh cut bread. The stuff of dreams come true. Langouistines drenched in garlic butter, haddock in beer batter . Can feel the saliva dripping from my mouth. Br8ng it back with a rich date sticky toffee pudding and you roll out the door totally stuffed and satisfied.... More

We did not have a reservation but we were accommodated right when they opened at 6:30. We split the squid starter which was very good. Had the whole haddock and it was perfect. For dessert we tried their homemade ice cream. It was the best. Service was prompt and friendly. We would go back, but we're only in town one... More

Located just next to the fishing port in Troon if you want fresh fish and great local oysters then you need look no further. It is located right at the end of the harbour and although it is more like a bistro the food was very good indeed. The oysters were excellent as were the mussels ( on the small... More

Hidden away at the end of the harbour it was a real surprise to find such a good fish restaurant. Tempura prawns were the freshest and largest I have ever had. My friend has the mussels for a main course whilst the rest of us went for the fish. Well cooked but very filling. Experience was enhanced by watching the... More

Four of us, all keen foodies, had a truly excellent meal here. We all had different starters, main courses and desserts and we were all impressed by the fresh, imaginative food. The winelist looks like it was compiled by someone who actually knows about wine, as opposed to many restaurants in the area who seem to just stock a 'paint... More
