Visited Troon today & had lunch in Venice Cafe. Lovely wee cafe, staff polite & with good service. Menu covers usual sandwiches, baked potato & some main meals. Would definitely recommend, if in area.

Following a refreshing walk along the sands, decided to visit venice for a drink and snack prior to starting our journey home. On arrival chose instead to make it brunch to fit with our journey plans. Selected the venice breakfast and o boy we were not disappointed. Every element was cooked and presented brilliantly. A great place to eat and... More

Took the family here on a trip to Troon. It's a nice, cosy cafe. Menu has a good selection and food is served all day. They have a good selection of cakes on display that look great but we didn't try them - maybe next time! Service was good although when the cafe got busier they were a little slow... More

Cafe was busy and noisy. A typical day I suppose. Found a seat, could see they were short staffed as a lot of people were waiting for their order to be taken. We ordered a baked potato with prawns and a burger meal. Potato was large but prawns were sparse to say the least. Burger meal was as standard. The... More

A trip to Troon is incomplete without a trip to the Venice :) The ice cream is what we went for as kids-its a little fancier now but the ice cream is still fabulous as are the luncheon meals.

The smart Venice Cafe has a friendly vibe, decent paninis and a nice selection of cakes on offer. They also serve for example, baked potatoes, soups, danish pastries and pasta dishes. The weather outside was bone-chilling but we soon forgot about that as we warmed up with a nice cuppa. Worth a try!

At first glance this is but a simple coffee shop but enter and you will see what great food offerings are in store. We enjoyed a great macaroni cheese (huge) and a panini (stuffed with the good stuff) and were surprised how cheap it was (about £6 each). Great wee place to visit as a cheaper alternative to Lido round... More

Nice enough place, a little cramped but clean. Food nice and coffee was good too. A little over priced.
