We loved this place so much we came here twice First time we were only intending to drop in for a quick drink on our way back to our digs. But I looked at the menu and we ended up having lunch there Had the soup for starters. Oh yum. It was a home made lentil soup and it was... More

I always enjoy the Old Loans Inn. The place was packed as we were there during the Open. The service was almost non-existent. I went to the bar 3 times to order but nobody even looked at me Finally the bar tender took our order and another 30 minutes later we got our drinks followed by our snacks. Because of... More

I am a regular visitor the the Old Loans Inn. I have never been disappointed. The selection of food is extensive. Our meals are always served promptly and the standard of food is very good. I am very happy to recommend this Inn to visitors and local residents alike.

Called in to have lunch but not happy with service. We had the 2 course fixed price which overall was not bad,my complaint is that I counted 14 other persons in restaurant so it was not busy.We arrived at 13.10 and left at 15.15 and it would have been longer if I did not ask where the sweet was after ordering... Every time I visit here I always receive excellent service and excellent food. Large portions at average prices. There is always a nice atmosphere whether it's full or almost empty. If you want excellent food for a good price visit here.

This place was recommended by our B&B and we weren't disappointed as it was one of the best pub meals on our holiday. It was great food from an extensive menu and great service and the cost very reasonable. It has outdoor seating available under large umbrellas for smokers.

Food was good but service was just average. Server seemed disinterested and we waited quite a while for our order to be served.
