We have been to Sutor Creek several times, usually with extended family with small children. We have always had excellent experiences, and this time we were able to visit as a couple. We were in Cromarty for just one day at short notice, so hadn't booked ahead. Booking is necessary! We couldn't get a table for the evening but got... More

Simply the best Sunday lunches in the Highlands, if not the UK! Great food & a warm welcome in a delightful town - Sutor Creek should definitely be on your list of places to visit. It's popular with tourists and locals alike so be sure to book to avoid disappointment.

Wide range of pizzas, some of them rather extraordinary (pulled pork? Crayfish, spicy sausage, chili relish, ricotta & fresh coriander??) at reasonable prices. Prepared almost under your nose, and you can see the wood-fired oven - you can even see the wood, to prove the point. Aside from pizza, there is a good choice of imaginative mains, fish and seafood... More

We decided to drive out to Cromarty on a whim and were so glad we did! This was hands down the best meal of our entire trip to Scotland. We dined for lunch and had fresh mussels, pizzas and dessert - and loved every bite. The drive from Inverness is also quite beautiful. Cromarty is also quite charming and we... More

On my birthday last Saturday we drove to Cromarty to have dinner at Sutor Creek, a place where we've eaten many time before. What we hadn't bargained for was that even at 5pm they would be fully booked. However, we were offered the option of take away pizza, though even for that there may be an hour's wait. We agreed... You have two menus to choose from, pizza cooked in an authentic pizza oven, or specials of the day, both offered with an assortment of interesting starters. The locally caught squid with pineapple and chlies was delicious, and the roast duck that followed was excellent. Its hard to choose what to order from the menu, so we plan to return... More

Had one of the daily specials. Cooked to perfection. Great local beers and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Might be worth booking in advance as all tables were taken.

Sutor Creek is our 'default' restaurant for regular visits to Cromarty. Friendly and enthusiastic staff in a busy environment (even on a Sunday evening). I had a great Pizza (which is an excellent Sutor Creek speciality) as nothing on the Board for a main (disappointingly) spiked my imagination. Other members of the Party did go for the Board and enjoyed... More

Eaten here a couple times and can recommend fabulous muscles and the pizzas, although everything else that passed by my table on the way to someone else looked good too. Not the biggest place, so booking probably advisable unless you start early, but well worth the effort.

Family night out and a fair drive from Forres was well worth it. I'm a fussy eater but I was fine with the choices offered. Nice atmosphere, pleasant waiting staff
