Rang and booked a table for 3, two being visitors to our home, for 6.30pm and was advised needed to have it vacated by 8pm as were running '2 sittings'. As a local, appreciated that this was a busy venue and agreed. Arrived promptly to be greeted with a repeat of the timing issue by the 'Manager' as a birthday... More

Went here with my husband and we loved it. The food is excellent. We had lamb which came in two varieties and my husband also had a ginger-lemon cheesecake, Both dishes were outstanding! The staff is super friendly and the place has a lovely atmosphere. I can definitively recommend it. Make sure to book a table though as the place... More

Lovely Scottish restaurant. Had Venison steak on a black pudding base with red cabbage...amazing, so tender. My boyfriend had the steak and he said it was the best steak he's had for a long time. As a dessert 'Whiskey Sponge' and 'lemon and ginger cheesecake' also so nice. Both were definitely freshly made in the restaurant as the taste and... More

Although the food was lovely the greeting leaves a lot to be desired. Booked a table for 6:15 upon arrival before even a hello we were told we had to be finished by 7:30 as they wanted table now an hour and 15 mins might not sound too bad for a meal however if you are waiting 15 mins to... More

Bloody delicious! My partner and I had the whisky lovers set menu. The food was amazing the staff were attentive and the atmosphere was fantastic. A bit on the pricy side but well worth it. Book in advance to avoid dissapointment.

It was such a surprise to find out that this place (one of the few restaurants in this little village full of tourists) has very good food. The staff is really nice and my husband and I came here 2 nights out of 3 to have dinner!

The food is lovely and it has a good selection of whisky, only if the waitors could be just a bit more friendly and with bit more smile...the whole restaurant lacks of energy despite the decor is lovely. The bit really let me down is in the end of the dinner we wanted to pay seperately and the waitor literally... More

My husband and I decided to have food outside fiddlers one evening recently and so bought some fish and chips (my husband had scampi) from the so called food tuck located on the court yard. What can I say? Without doubt the worst chips I have ever had, disgustingly greasy and re-heated. The fish was just about okay, the scampi... More

Quality of food and value for money is second to none. Usually prefer to try different places to eat - but after trying Fiddlers, did not bother. Great staff and wonderful food. Small negative is limited kids menu - though the universal fallback of "pasta" is on offer and very tasty.

Very present place to eat and very busy restaurant . It is advisable to book table for evening meal . Good food , reasonable price and present service. Would recommend anybody to enjoy the food in this pretty setting restaurant near the road side of the village in Drumnadrochit near Urquhart castle .

Thank susahati
