Good Scottish hospitality! Good and varied menu and plenty of home made choice. They cater for GF foods as well. Nice atmosphere, very cheerful and staff very helpful.

Popped in for a quick cup of tea and a scone with my wife The cafe had a lovely ambience with some nice soft Jazz music playing in the background. We had a Pot of tea for tea and there was a generous ammount of tea in the Pot, certainly enough for 2 cups each. My wife said the scone... More

Actually looked at places for lunch before going to Crieff and ended up going to neither as Red Squirrel was recommended to us by the shoe shop owner down the road. Nice cafe, restaurant gift shop combo setting. We were however lucky to have lovely weather and sat in the little garden to the rear. My mother had baked tattie... More

We were en route to Glasgow from Aberdeen for a concert, and were taking a wee detour to admire the countryside. Crieff is a very frequent stop for us, and being a rainy day we curtailed our walking in the Main Street a little, and opted for somewhere to have a snack lunch. We had seen the Red Squirrel Cafe... A nice find towards the top of the High street on the left. This cafe was buzzing today and I got a warm welcome from 2 girls as I entered. There was a look alike fire blazing to the left on the main door and a selection of tables / a couple of sofas around the corner. I just wanted... More

Were looking for somewhere to have late lunch on way back from Comrie to Perth when we found this lovely little place. The staff were welcoming and helpful. There was room for babies pushchair at the table without getting in other customers way. The food was excellent and all freshly made to order. Would definitely come back.

We were in Crieff for a couple of days staying at the Hydro. We knew that it was likely that we would be arriving in Crieff well in advance of the time when we could access our accommodation so we had done some advance checking on tripadvisor for a suitable place to have a light lunch. The Red Squirrel seemed... More
