We have eaten here several times in the past and have always had a great family meal which I have reviewed positively. We ordered a quick lunch last Saturday and it was just awful. We had a minute steal sandwich, the meat was rubbery, my youngest ordered Mac and cheese which consisted of 5 pieces of macaroni illumious yellow sauce... More

This was a rare evening me and my husband got to go out and have a meal without the children. We were not disappointed, the meals were delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were very friendly, we will definitely visit again.

Walked in with 2 children and 2 dogs. One child very fussy with food so they adapted their menu to accommodate us and even gave the dogs a treat each. Food arrived very quickly and was really nice. Would recommend to anyone wanting a traditional type pub with good food

Typical Scottish pub. Nothing too fancy. Chefs could do with a good wash and some clean uniforms. Consequently, I didn't eat here. Bar staff could smile a bit. Ok for a quick beer but don't rush. One of two pubs in Aberfeldy so choice is limited.

Visited with high expectations after previous reviews n recommended in perthshire magazine. Tiny portions, not enough veg for a Sunday lunch. Leathery beef, solid Yorkshire pud, one small scoop of smash...yes smash. No roast spuds. Dessert microwaved, dry and tasteless with postage stamp portions. Prices should provide quality food and homemade desserts but feel ripped off. Free bottle of wine... More

The great thing about Perth is the variety of good places to eat and enjoy a drink. The Black Watch Bar & Croft Restaurant is a very good example.
