The most amazing bit about this was my dad going on about mince and tatties. When we got to this small cafe in the middle of nowhere, their special was mince and tatties! Good basic food, cooked well, great staff and cheap. Definitely recommended.

So nice to get to this lovely wee cafe after a walk from the Old Man of Hoy and enjoy delicious rhubarb crumble washed down by chilled local beer before boarding our ferry back to Stromness.

Good plunger coffee or teas, with great fruit scone, rhubarb crumble (to die for) and soups. Worth a stop on your visit to Hoy.
