Family visit, 12 + 10 year olds. I will start with the only negative and its not a big deal at all. You can't book this place. We turned up at 7 ish and were told it was a 1.5 hour wait for a table and 1 of us had to wait in the bar if we wanted to get... More

Went here on a Friday night but hadn't booked so had to wait for a table, no matter, we were served with drinks on comfortable sofas and chairs. When we did get a table the order was taken quickly and food arrived without wait, I have to say it was very nice. There were plenty of locals just having a... More

I LOVE the Drift Inn. It is our absolute favourite place to eat in Arran. We have been coming here for many years and the food is always top notch. Really laid back, brilliant views on a sunny day or really cosy by the fire on a wet cold one. Fresh seafood, steaks better than any west end of Glasgow... More

We had a delicious meal with our son and his family including a 7 month child. We arrived at 6.0 pm and couldn't get a table so we stayed in the bar and waited for nearly an hour. It was worth the wait, service and food excellent. Childrens meals good value at £5.50, would recommend getting there before 5.30 if you... More

Very enjoyable food served here with fantastic views over the Holy Isle . Enjoy it even more from the gardens. Served by friendly ,pleasant staff this is a good place for families , maybe later in the evening it would be quieter for couples to enjoy. Only gripe would be that the bar is right in front of tables so... More

we came here or dinner last week. My family have been here before and recommended the fish which was my first choice. It was lovely and fresh and piping hot when we arrived, although I didn't need to wait long. my partner had the burger which he said was delicious. We will definitely visit again

Our holiday destination for ??years now & although we always went here for dinner it was because of its close proximity to our cottage....last year & this year it's because the food is really good & very pleasant waiting staff.....our children had not been for about 6 or 7 years and did not believe us how much better it was....they... We loved eating here! We walked for dinner from Glenisle Hotel and weren't disappointed. Our server was so pleasant, we loved talking with her. The atmosphere of the restaurant was so friendly - it seemed like everyone saw someone they knew while they were there, and even though we didn't, it still made for a very welcoming feel. The food...
