Good menu on a blackboard - ample choice but not so much to overwhelm and not too pricey. Well-looked after throughout by the friendly staff despite how busy the place was. Twice-baked soufflé tasted good enough but had not been twice-baked enough as it was cold at the bottom. No scrimping on the portion size for the fish and chips,... More

Oh my tootsie were killing from the wonderful walk, so popped in the brocdick to have a wee whisky to warm up the toes, traditional decor, tartan theme, fireplace. Ooooooooh at first glance the bar looks like a kiddie in a wine gum bar, but nooooooo kraken rum behind the bar, apart from that it's a seeveeen for squawk Mcduff

Ate here last night and we were blown away by the food. The steaks were amazing as was the sticky toffee pudding. Lovely staff and a great atmosphere. Well worth a visit.

We stayed at the Glenartney and had evening drinks in the Brodick Bar and Brasserie. The establishment is very modern but with a traditional Scottish bar theme which works very well. The staff were chatty, happy in there work and a an asset to the owners. I would thouroughly recommend this Bar to all types.

Popped in here for dinner and were met with a lovely welcome and shown to our seats. We were then informed that the menu was on a blackboard at the other side of the room. Its quite a big room, and I don't have that bad eyesight, however I couldn't read it. We had to therefore walk to the other... More

Had lunch the other day here. Food is quite good but do feel it is time to change the menu on the blackboard as it seems to have had the same items on it for years! Also £2.00 for a small glass of lemonade is taking the p.

Food and drink are like everywhere else on Arran, pricey. The food was well presented although a bit too rich for my tastes, wouldn't hurry back

When you look at the outside you are underthe impression that it is old fashion and for Locals...Were we surprised, the inside is very smart the staff a very friendly, helpful and pleasant. Yes the menu is written on a board but it is a big board and the choices are very good almost wanted everything on it. I had... More

Did not eat in the restaurant though it appeared to be busy most nights. The bar is bright and clean ...the toilets spotless.... and the staff friendly. The drink prices are excessive but seems everywhere in Arran is the same so expect City plus prices. The bar does not open on Sundays and has restricted afternoon hours.

Had some cider, whisky and an amazing lamb curry, its my first meal over on Arran - prices seem reasonable (especially as my boss is covering costs).
