Visited here for lunch on 23rd July. Lovely cosy setting, really nice menu, we had mussels/salmon salad starters-delicious. My wife and I both opted for the steak main (£6:50 supplement each). Well worth the extra, waitress was really polite and professional. Food was excellent and at £22 for 3 courses, really good value for quality food.

We've eaten here quite regularly over the years but this last visit left us wondering if the place had changed hands, because the food we had wasn't up to the usual standard. The Shetland mussels, which usually have identifiable pieces of pancetta or lardons in, had diced up squares of wafer thin ham out of a packet - the slices... More

Lunched with friends. Menu offered a good choice as did the wine list. Food did not let you down and was first class. Service was friendly and efficient.

My 1st time dining is this tucked away gem, the food I could not fault in any way. A warm friendly service with simple décor lets you enjoy the essence of fine dining. 10/10 guys, we be back for sure.

We have eaten several times at this small restaurant and have never been disappointed. The restaurant is in North Queensferry and easily accessible by train, bus, car or on foot. The limited menu offers enough choice but is also reassuring that the food is freshly prepared. Lunch is particularly good value and can be combined with a walk on the... More

I booked tables for 30 people at the Wee Restaurant as a celebration for our wedding that was occurring in a few days. The meal was flawless! We started with smoked fish and potato soup. The main was a choice of chicken supreme, orzo pasta, mushrooms, and truffle, or salmon with puy lentils, spinach and herb gnocchi. Finished with sticky... More

This is a small restaurant with about 10 tables. I liked the menus on a wooden platter, a bit different. We found the food to be of very good standard although I thought the moules frite were far too creamy for my liking. The handmade frites were excellent. Can highly recommend the sliced sirloin which came with an interesting shredded... More

My Wife and I visited on a Saturday night for dinner with another couple for a 60th birthday celebration ( not mine) as I had visited before for lunch on a couple of occasions and the food was very good. The restaurant only has about a dozen tables but set in nice décor. The staff are very friendly and attentive... More

Looking for a lunch spot en route from Edinburgh to St Andrews we found the restaurant on Trip Advisor - in a lovely spot under the Forth Rail bridge . The food with wide choices all locally sourced was very good - the wife said that the vine of tomato soup was the best soup she had ever tasted !... More

I was attracted by the reviews on Tripadvisor. Had dineer on one evening here as i did not wanted to go far from the hotel. The food was really good, loved the asparagus dish... brilliant. Great choice of wines, even the bottled water tasted very well. Portions are fair, the price is quite steep for a small restaurant in a... More
