I recently attended a "GinTasting Event" at The Ceres Inn. The staff were very warm and hospitable, they were very knowledgeable about the subject. I found the event to be both educational and entertaining. Lenny and Gareth always make me feel welcome in their Inn. As a newcomer to the village, this is a really first rate place to while... Great staff, family friendly, dog friendly- traditional inn. The service was excellent and we felt like we were part of the family. Great sample of Scottish hospitality, great knowledge of local scotch and nicest people in the area. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Try to make it for the music on 1st Monday of each month some of best... More

We enjoyed our meal here on Father's Day. The friendly owner made us welcome to this traditional historic pub, founded 1721, in the attractive village of Ceres. There was a fine choice on the menu and the food was perfectly cooked although the hand cut chips could have been a bit hotter!

A warm welcoming heart of the village inn with reasonably priced beers and meals (burgers a speciality) served in a dog-friendly bar. Nothing outstanding but will not disappoint if you are in the area.

My wife and I had lunch here today. First impressions. Small pub, 5 tables set up for lunch. (dinner is served downstairs in the restaurant) similar to the pitlessie inn, but smaller. Meet and greet, worked well. We had a friendly welcome, shown to the table, menu's presented, soup choice explained and drinks order taken. Menu was quite restricted for... More

The inn uses burgers sourced from the local renowned Ceres Butcher. Food is home cooked - definitely better than average for pub grub. Lennie the owner knows his stuff and provides a warm welcome, we tried a variety of beers on tap that were new to us. Outdoor seating is good if weather permits - overlooking the burn & village...
